I have a white 06 touring and want to wrap my roof with black vinyl, im sure you have seen it on other cars. I like the way it looks so I talked to a friend of mine at a local sign shop, he agreed that it would look clean but suggested black mat instead of black gloss because the black gloss supposedly scratches easy, like swirl marks after cleaning for example. He also said i could wrap it in carbon fiber 3m vinyl. Now, he showed me the material and it is Not just cheap printed cf vinyl, this is thicker and textured. It really feels and looks legit, minus the clear coat, like any average joe would not be able to tell the difference. Also, my windows are tinted fairly dark so the black would look pretty flush. What do you guys think?

 

I'm in the same boat but with a Silverstone car. I'm going with the 3M CF because I just got a CF hood from Seibon. I would go with ether the CF or Gloss because the matt seems like it would clash with your back window since it will shine with the dark tint.

I have a PPW car and I had my roof painted gloss black. It looks totally awesome. It blends very well with my blacked out windows. I'd go with gloss every time.
