Painted calipers r fine when they are done well w an oem color arrangement ..painting them.poorly in purple is what we hate..sometimes less is more..

Coming from.me..that's a frikin mouthful lol..

I really think it's the looks of stock calipers that don't go well will a noticeable color.. brembos look good though. It's all really preference, but you will get flamed here for painting stock calipers.

Lol.. but somehow I dont get flamed for alot I easily could be....ppl must know im.big and crazy lol..
I agree tho..stockers , just tuck em away n let em collect brake dust lol
I did however just paint my new calipers brembo gold ..but they are the size of footballs and was done in a paint booth on new gear..

OP..your gray idea will look great.. I always liked the non metallic scion /Lamborghini gray... this looks darker n nicer n will do great on a z body lines .. jump on it.
Just ask them if there's any other blends similar as Porsche colors will be costly. Lamborghini three stage paints r redonk expensive just for materials..let alone 3 different spray layers.

True..mine is ( was) silverstone too....but just rocking a non.oem/unavailable color will get a ton of attention on the street.
I like different
