Default Need your thoughts, deciding on a mix match kit for my 06GT

This is my baby. Here's my kit thoughts..

Authentic Veilside V1 CF Lip
Authentic NISMO V1 Sideskirts USDM

Rear ??? - UNDECIDED! HELP!

Rims: 19" Forgestar F14 - matte black

I'm running 265/285 Nitto Invo's for tires, but they need an upgrade soon. Anything out there better than Invo's, I'm sure there is but I don't know where to start looking.

Any help is appreciated guys. Thanks.

Also contemplating a CF roof wrap? Anyone done this on a Silverstone? Just wondering if it would look alright, seeing as I'll have a CF lip I don't think it would look to bad!

Please before you touch the body of this car lower it... Nothing looks worse than a full kit on a Z with a 4 inch wheel gap...

I've never owned a set of Invos however I have heard very mixed reviews. A lot of guys on here and on other forums tend to be fans of the Hankook line.

if it were my car, i would get either the top secret cf rear diffuser, or nismo rear add ons. The usdm sides aren't my cup of tea tho. Maybe a chargespeed rear

Veilside lip- Great Choice
Nismo V1 - Not a great choice, check with Vivid Racing... they have Chargespeeds in stock
Rear - Veilside makes a nice clean rear lip that will go well with what your looking for.

Good choice on the wheels but you need a slight drop to make it work. Good luck.

Mixing kits the number of possibilities is endless. Not sure what combination is best. Best is what you like best.

i'm a fan of both aggressive and simple setups. lately i've been more a fan of the simple stuff, so i feel a nice simple setup would be along the lines of

v1 lip
chargespeed botomline sides
nismo rear spats + evo r rear diffuser.

or you cant go wrong with the great flowing heavily overplayed usdm nismo sides.

Well, I want coilovers, but right now they are pricey. Maybe next summer, but definitely could buy some lowering springs? What would you recommend for stock suspension?

Definitely would only be one season use, as next year I will throw the bucks down for coilovers.

Pending on the springs you choose, the lower the drop, the greater the chance you will need a arm and rear camber/toe kit to help out the tire wear. A lot of people stop here and it get expensive so either way you look at it, it will cost you if you want to do it right.

GL

Edit: not a fan of mix match kit

Body kit idea is similar to "Leemik's" setup, I never see him on here anymore. He has the Top Secret front with USDM sides which look great imo. I have Nitto INvos and love them, will be getting them again.
