You will have to bake open the headlights and change them from the inside i believe. Its too much of a hassle honestly. But if you don't mind, then do it and post pics!

bake headlights, take apart, switch bulbs, silicone back, get traffic ticket, bake headlights, take apart, switch bulbs, silicone back, go to court.

 

Brush up on your state's vehicle requirements. Only white or amber lights on the headlights are allowed when the car is actually driving on the road, just like everyone else has said.

Unless you get a switchback module for when you're not driving (car shows/cruises), then red will be fine.

They're LEDs and will have to be soldered in.

Also, it is illegal to have forward facing red lights. Which isn't an issue if you can turn them on or off at will, but these are on whenever your headlights are on.

Your choice, but I'd say it is a bad idea.

I have parts on my car that are illegal too... But not something like this. Window tint that is too dark is one thing, but red lights on the front of your car is about as obvious as flipping a cop off as you drive by...

Once you finish, I recommend not fully tightening the bolts as you'll be pulling them back off again soon (i.e. before your court date).

I saw a local guy with a new Camaro put on red halos... About a week later... No more red halos.

Are you kidding me, I did not ask a "stupid ****ing question." Would it make a difference, if i wanted white lights instead? I just want too know the BULB SIZE. Don't worry about what color im using. I thought these forums are for helping each other out. I know what is legal and not. All i want is a answer, not people like you that make irrelevant comments.
