Trying to find a Fairlady Emblem!
Looking for the original looking Datsun Fairlady emblem in script. Got rear Nissan badge ripped off my car a few weeks ago by some idiot drunk kids. So instead of painting hatch I need a new emblem. Anybody know where I can find it for a reasonable price? The one I want is about $100.00 everywhere I check. Here is the one I like!
Thanks in advance!

Just checked those websites. They have the one I've been seeing around but not the one I want. There's a few different ones out, I like the font of the emblem without the black outlining. Plus my car is white, I want silver. And I'm not crazy about the plain regular fairladyz emblem that replaces the 350z on the left side.
thanks tho!

Check jdm-car-parts.com.
They handle vintage stuff. There is a glove box emblem that may be able
to be adapted to your needs.
If you do find one, more than likely it will install with metal tips.
You need to drill holes to mount .Or,grind the tips and install with
an adhesive.A trick I've used for years to mount things like emblems
that are too small and detailed for 3-M,is to use windshield weld
butyl rubber.Just put a small amount on the back of the emblem
surface and press it on.It'll stay there.Just be sure to not have any of the rubber weld extend over the edges of the emblem. Its a mess to remove.

Thanks for the replies! There's three different script Fairlady emblems. One with black outline that I'm not crazy about, maybe if my car was black. And there's two other in script plain chrome. I like the font of the one i posted. The other is too bubbly that its like hard to read. The difference is so minimal. If you check the y in lady you'll see the difference. I'm putting you all up to a challenge, thanks for looking out! keep it coming if you come across anything
i THINK (not 100% sure if this is true or if it would help) but I read it was made for 1962 to 1970 Fairlady Roadsters.

Shot in the dark here... Have you tried contacting body shops? I know they have a way of searching for emblems and stickers that come on cars in order to repair them. Maybe just maybe you can luck up and find a body shop that can source this emblem.
Contact specialty shops too that do custom car builds and such. Also try contacting Z1 and The Z Store.

I contacted Abra Collision Repair (Formally Bradshaw Collision) about another matter and having seen this thread earlier, I thought to ask about your emblem. I asked them if they could get the deck lid emblem for a 1962-1970 Fairlady Roadster and while familiar with the Japanese name for the car, they were unable to source the part. The shop manager suggested that I contact a collision repair center in Japan and either hope for an English speaking employee or utilize a Japanese speaking friend. Extreme as this method may seem, its really not too impractical.
English: Does anyone there speak English?
Japanese Romaji: Dare mo ga Eigo wo hanashi masu ka?
Japanese Kanji: 誰もが英語を話しますか?
Hope that helps

wow thanks for all the information! I will most def. try to locate this damn emblem that way. I actually did try craigslist in japan and China in every location they had listed, but they had absolutely nothing posted for sale.

Ya there's actually a fair amount of places to pick this up.
But it's def a $100+ emblem, you already knew that tho.
So kinda confused on this thread, u cheap??
I sourced them for my own Datsun roadster project
http://www.datsunparts.com/Emblems
It's expensive cause all us restoring roadsters want them.

Jackson- I'm Not cheap. I NEVER had the intentions to have to RE-BUY an emblem for my car. Some stupid kids ripped off the nissan emblem in the middle of the night. The next morning I came to my hatch all scratched up from a screw driver and pieces everywhere. That day I found the emblem I want on ebay for $65 but didn't buy because I thought the price was absurd. That style emblem hasn't been listed again since. After research i realize why its so much. Everything original comes after market too, Body kits, emblems, etc. I'm not trying to spend $100 on a stupid emblem.
Ask what the deal is before you judge.

and no not all original parts are re-produced or copied.
personally i really dont think $100 for an "stupid" fully metal jdm-only emblem from the 60's is really asking that much.
