Default APR GTC300 owners. Confirm I got wrong pedestals?

Doing the rough work for my APR wing instal I discovered that even with the base plates on the flattest part of the trunk I can't get the center section anywhere close to 0 degrees unless I am at the lowest setting. Any other setting gives a positive rake to the wing. (The leading edge points skyward in the center)

The car is as close to level as is possible so that is not the cause.

I wrote the vendor and APR but no response yet. Just want some back up from current owners.

I can take a pic of mine when i get home, typically i run the front 4 to 5 degrees up on the center section. 10 degrees up for driving around on the street, to and from the track.

what am i missing here? are you stating that youre ABOVE zero degrees and need the front even lower? DO you have too much or too little rake angle as is..

With the wing at any setting but the lowest setting, the front of the wing is higher than the back. It has a positive angle of attack, not a negative angle (relative to the ground)

That's strange, but I guess air flow angle is not parallel to the ground.

The angle of attack for the center section should be considered in relation to the roofline. Check out this APR article about 3/4 of the way down starting with the computer image of the aston martin.

Btw post pics from the outside, I bet you have much more adjustment.

Yes I run the middle section high, after about 70 mph without a splitter the under steer is crazy.

Thanks for the posts guys. APR seems to think it's likely I have the wrong pedestals.

They are sending me new ones.

Good good. Glad they are taking of you in this situation. Some companies would just blow you off.
