That's a good idea too. Is it hard to get to?

The one in the floorboard has to be a specific size for the seat to slide over it.

Most eng fires are from a bad or severed fuel line, the most important thing to do is get fuel shut off first. Once fuel is shut off a small fire extinguisher may get the rest of the fire out. I see no problem with a small extinguisher properly mounted in the car.

Thanks for the link, I'm going to attempt this except with a black extinguisher. Only $23

I bought two Halguards one for my Z and Tacoma. These wont leave a residue and are rechargeable. They are a bit expensive though... if it saves a life or gives you a few extra seconds to escape I think it's well worth it.

Bought my z with one mounted in the trunk, never bothered to remove it. Meh, probably wont.

Yeah i agree with AZ 201 there are too many people wearing vinegar knickers on this thread. If someone wants to fit a fire extinguisher, then why not?
