My check engine bulb is burnt out. Can someone tell me the size of the bulb please. Much is appreciated.

 

Sounds like a new mod to me. Get some test pipes now lol. Try checking with the parts people at the Nissan dealerships. I tried searching but I could only find info on the outside lights and some of the interior lights. Nothing for the lights in the dashboard cluster.

 

I'm going to guess that's one soldered onto the circuit board of the gauge panel.

There are a couple of threads here on the forum by guys who have replaced all the bulbs in the dash with colored LEDs. Check through those and you might find some hints on what to use as a replacement.

It's an led that's soldered on and not a simple twist bulb that's replaceable. I had that burn out on a previous car and had to get it soldered lol

When you insert the key and turn to access, e cluster lights up for a few seconds and the check engine light Is always one of the ones that light up. If you don't see this light up for a few seconds, then something is up lol

 

Did you buy the car recently? I bought a Miata about 5 years ago and when I went for the emission inspection, it was discovered the CEL had been removed along with the catalytic converter. Fortunately, the dealer had to fix everything so it was a minor inconvenience. It is possible a prior owner removed the CEL.
