Can I just make a suggestion? I'm a designer with enough experience to maybe help with some minor points at least?
The car is getting too busy in my opinion....the louvred hood is way too busy...the JUN hood would be about the max I'd do as the other hoods add too many lines that lead the eye away from other lines of the car. The JUN hood, especially painted correctly with possible accents in various places...could work really well, but for my money the rims with thinner spokes make the wheels look a little busy as well versus simple classy and clean, leaving the lines of the car to stand as the main artistic draw for the eyes....in other words...I'd simplify the rims myself, but that's me. How? Wider spokes to fill more of the negative space, deep dish for sure, but not too too deep...currently I think the rims are more of a distraction than a complement to the overall car if I can be a little bold? I would've waited to choose rim style until after the car was done, but I know you need em to make fitment happen...so it's a rock and a hardplace kinda deal.
I'd make graceful transitions for the fenders so the wide body kit doesn't look bolted on...make the fender attachments clean like a ferrari and let the lines of the car and the color of the paint be the boldness and class you're trying to go for if I'm reading your prototyping correctly...the rear view looks good...the huge wing I think is too much to be honest....but the rest looks good for MY tastes. Granted...my tastes aren't yours, but if you're trying to have a unique look that is both sultry and sporty and more timeless rather than dated, I think some of the things done so far are starting to look like a body shop project and not a stunning piece of art that a body shop was used to accomplish.
You liking it, and your sponsors, is what matters most of course, and I respect all the work put into making this happen, but if any of my suggestions can help you finesse it to be it's best I'm glad to try to help, not trying to offend you by saying you're doing it wrong...you're not...but the thing I've noticed is that the car is getting busy looking when every single panel has an "effect" applied to it for getting the viewers attention...it's like making every word in a sentence a different size in graphic design...the viewer just sees the words rather than the flow of a sentence....I would have a JUN hood, non-custom side mirrors as the old ones you ran are distracting from the lines of the car and aren't of the same visual "weight" as the heft the car conveys...a wide body sports car can be ruined with mirrors that stick out like deformed ears on a head.....the ears get noticed before the person. Keep the mirrors simple.
I wish I had the time to put together a visual mockup...I think you'd like my ideas...but life is just too busy. Either way...will be an amazing vehicle and adventure for everyone involved and everyone that will see it.
Have fun with your ride...great car

that hood is a loaner from a friend.
certainly appreciate the input.. i do however like the bolted on look though, its quite popular in japan w tuners like 6666 garage etc.. kinda what id like.. no one really goes " WHOA" to a wider body Porsche.. looks like its supposed to be that way..
but this car will scream "Batman tumbler" lol.
found the one car in the US w the JUN rep hood today.. looks awesome, i think ill buy it.
its a nice change up the the ususal 08 power hump.
The car actually has the fenders on it that i sold to my friend too.. man these would have been nice!

Glad I didn't offend you, and fair enough on the look you're going for.
I kinda suspect the bolted on fender look is popular because it does away with a certain level of fender work to create seamlessness, but if it's done creatively I do like it in SOME cases, but not most personally.
Glad you found a JUN hood...will look good I think, and those vents can be customized too, made more shallow, add fins, remove fins, whatever...plus paint can do quite a bit. You gonna paint the hood or leave it the carbon fiber? My vote is paint, as the 350z lines are similar to a 911's....they really flow nicely until the panels are all treated differently...then the line flow gets interrupted and it doesn't look as stylish. Personally that's why I like the lighter colors on a Z, as the lines can be seen more readily.
I wonder what yours would look like white with metal and dark paint accents to the rear aesthetics and those fender cutouts....car would look bigger white as well, but wouldn't have the Batman effect if that what you're going after....
Don't think you can honestly get to tumblr from a Z, except for the rear view?
I'd focus on the side skirts creating an eye line that accented the fender swells somehow? I'd need to see what the final fenders looked like before I could play with suggestions, but side skirts really affect a Z's lines obviously, personally I think something narrow at the front wheel that then swelled outward to the rear fender creating a nice but subtle sweep for the eye to travel.

indeed.. I will probably have something done with the leading edge of the rear fenders, just waiting until the whole car has more completed so I can stand backl and look at what lines are needed/missing.
Found a place in town that stocks 6mil and 10mil alumalite sheets for a good price, so that lets me get my front splitter and side splitters all taken care of..
Also heading down to the shop this week to try n swap a rear wheel over to the front to see what it looks like.
If we can make it work.. a 20x11 square set up might look **** here. Perhaps 19s, not sure yet, plenty of time.....
Since im still looking for a more racey and concave set up, I think I may wind up going with the F14s again.. in the new super deep concave though.
They finally make a reasonable offset on them, -4.
Also in the works is an aluminum fan shroud.. just bought a cheezy ebay version last night for 70 bucks shipped.. will toss the fans in a box in the garage.. most likely will run dual SPAL 14" curved blade unless i can find even more impressive ones.
Its the exact same end result as the GTM 350z fan shroud kit.. except this will cost me 211.00 total, vs thier price of 600.00 lol.
im told this is as loud as a jet plane at the stop light lol.. im cool w that.. hides clutch chatter .
And with that being said, tomorrow is pay day, ordering up a gaint alternator..
Im TIRED of messing w ebay overwound hot rod alternators, my dying stock alternator, or any other BS lol.. buying a DC Power Inc HOA w a custom machined and anodized case.. purple of course lol. 250 amps peak, 180 at idle, and 170 when hot at idle.. plenty for me and the Viair compressors and the big fans.

custom built, but is plug n play.
here's the link in fact.. the smaller of the three exhibits less parasitic drag, and its all I need.
