S2000 seats
Wondering is it possible to place s2k seats in my 350? Did some digging and only found one thread which turned into s2k seats costing 7k. We all know that is false. Are the seats smaller then the ones in our 350's. Also if it has been done before how would you go about mounting them. Thanks

I just like the way the S2k seats look and was just wondering if anyone on here has done it or seen it done. The seats are pretty cheap but just dont know how big compared to our seats and how to go about mounting them.

Not sure why exactly you want the s2000 seats. I think it's a strange idea to put a honda seat into a nissan... but you could do it if you really wanted.
The touring 350z had a specific burnt orange leather vented seat option. That would be a lot easier to install, and has a similar look:

Those do look nice but i want to go with an all black leather setup. Plus i just like the look of them and dont have the money nor can i find any leather brides or recaros. Still the question remains how to mount them. I guess no one has ever down this.

You won't find people here receptive to the idea anyway.
I'd suggest getting the S2K's, and mocking them up in the car, see how far off the brackets are. From there, you might be better served to simply transfer the nissan rails/sliders to the bottom of the S2K seat frame, or make some sort of adapter plates to fit the S2K rails into the Z chassis.
Either route you go, you will have to do some of the measuring and trying yourself for those particular seats, i'm afraid.

They are expensive seats, if you are getting them cheap they are probably hot.

Says the guy bragging about taking a seat out to go faster in his sig...
There's nothing wrong with wanting to swap in some different seats, OEM 350Z seats suck *****. If I still had my Recaro seats from my old Cobalt SS, they would have been in my Z. Only thing really stopping me from switching seats in my Nismo is that they look so right in black leather with red stitching, anything else I put in wouldn't match as nice.

I used to have a s2k. My cloth 350z seats hold me much better than the s2k seats did. Probably because it was leather.
The s2k seats look nice but they're not as comfortable and they are lower to the floor. They dont have the two ***** for seat height adjustment.
You're going to have to create or fabricate a custom bracket that accounts for the holes and also for height if it looks weird being too low or high off the floor.
S2ks have been totaled in the past for stolen seats. basically someone slices up your top and takes your seats. In the thousands for the seats.. ridiculous. You can probably find used pairs for $500-800 on craigslist though.
