New seat ideas?
Thanks guys! Got them installed today; the big hassle was digging into stock pass. seat and getting that weight sensor out. I'll post up some pics of some of the surgery on seat in case others may be interested and I just got back from the first short drive with seats installed; got a few pics. Glad to have them in! *so far the airbag resistor trick has worked on both seats! While I was taking some pics, car was idling so I wanted to sit in pass. seat to see what happened; a light came on, but after I got out it turned off and stayed off; maybe it will be on with a passenger, but at least no blinking light.
I've only driven a few miles in new seat and I'll have to do a better analysis later, but they are firm but quite comfortable; stock seats are softer/more cushioning . These have a lot of little adjustments so I'll have to play with it to get it just right. Good head backing for safety also. One thing for me to get used to is how snug they are on my shoulder area, I know they are designed for that and I'll get used to them; already love 'em and I kind of think that they have changed my interior look! It feels different now cruising around like the seats have a spotlight on them, I like them more each day now (5 days later) and am glad to have these seats.

I went to nismo fiesta this weekend and had the opportunity to sit in one of the team BRG members bride euro II seat and IMO - they didn't feel comfortable at all. This is to be expected when you're running race seats... much like buying a sports car, you're not looking for luxury.
Any how, owner said he's running the regular rails and not the HL. It's the perfect height as it didn't feel any lower than stock height. This iis valuable info to me bc I'm not tall at 5'8" so the regular rails would be ideal for someone my height.
Love the way the seats look homie! Why do you wrap the seat belt around the shoulder?

I went out on an open road today that has some good turns; wanted to check out how seats feel at speed in some turns. They really hold my body still as some G-force was applied; doing what they were designed to do. Another note, there is definitely a better lower lumbar support that was missing with my stock seats. middle of back has velcro and it pulls open like a door; plenty of room so I folded a small towel to go behind the lumbar padding and it sticks out even more for good support. Middle of seat opens up too; I put about 1/2" of material under the padding and it put me up a bit, got the tilt where I like it and the dr. seat feels good. Once again, these type of seats are not the big padded soft seats, but they are way cool!
