I hope you mean Z1 Motorsports out of GA and not Z1 in NY.

These are the good guys.

Z1 NY are known crooks on here.

Uh oh... Google: Adam at Z1 performance, happy reading.

I bought items from them several yrs. ago, intakes was one of the items and it all wen't well. I did read some bad, some good reviews about them just now; sounds like some guys had long waits for parts and bad experiences! Now I've got some concern that I didn't have with them before; not going to panic since I've been a customer before, but this hood is JDM.

Thanks. Adam called me a couple hrs. ago and we had a good 20 min. talk, went over everything and it made me feel much better. He explained that the hood will come to Cali. via ship, then freight to me; said the "ship" route compared to air is about 20 days and once again like my invoice he said should be end of June.

When I ordered my Bride seats/rails from Nengun Perf. in Japan during the order process you get to the point of shipping options; they have I think 4, FedEx was 2nd most expensive which was about $580; other options were about $300+, but I chose FedEx, can't remember what the #1 option was (at least $100 more than fedex), but I'd assume the less expensive one/s are via Ship. Then there were fees like $150 just to use my card; had to fill out a customs form because order was over $3K.

If you go to Nengun's site, the prices are far lower than American companies, but that's due to the international shipping fees, etc. Their Bride Vorga's are $1,200+ or something; on every site I could find that sell Bride, those models are like $1500-$1,700 or so per. Bride rails are $149 per on Nengun; $249 or so elsewhere like czp. That's where the big shipping costs are absorbed into the cost you may pay. This MCR hood even on Nengun's site shows cost to my zip code is over $1,800, maybe that's via air, Z1 is obviously using via ocean for less cost (hundreds) so it was a good price compared to others due to shipping method, they do smaller items by air (z1). Anyway I wanted to let some of you know that when buying authentic JDM items, be ready for surprisingly big shipping cost.

Got the Amuse wing today, she's a beauty! Going to take it to the shop later today for the custom guy (owner) to look it all over and start getting his mounting view of it (will take 8 drill holes, 4 for each of 2 pillars), I'll leave it with him because he alread said that he'd probably want to do a shot of clear or two even though it looks awesome already and he'll install soon.

Dropped wing off just now; held it in place and both of us took looks from different angles and even though the piece is a gloss black, he is going to do a skim coat for any irregularities on the top surface that catches the air; will look like a mirror, then it will be sprayed SMB to match car color. He will get going on his template for the 8 bolt holes. Looking at the wing on the car it looks clean, but screams to be noticed too hehe! One thing about this type 2 wing is that it is functional and actually puts downforce on the rear at speed; not just for show.

*am thinking about rear wiper removal while inside hatch cover is off; any opinions of wiper delete? I know that some guys do that and I think it may look better with it gone.

Dropped car off an hour ago, paint guy was working on a 4 stg. buffing/polishing process; he's all happy about how it turned out, but not as much as me! He did some mini-body work to get this thing imaculate and I'm glad to have a guy like that doing the work. He said that he will do a final polish/seal after it's mounted.

Should be mounted by day's end and I can't wait. This amuse wing is going to be very cool, me not being a big wing/spoiler fan I think that this one will be a thumbs up! I'll post up some pics soon.

Cant wait to see the update.
And as far as a wiper removal goes, definitely do it.
I bought a removal kit for $20 online. It is literally just some pbc plastic that covers the hole. Im glad I did mine a couple months ago

Thanks, yeah they are going to remove wiper and motor; just called them and hatch cover is off and getting ready for surgery/drilling so motor is right there and easy to remove since the panel is off; I had forgotten to mention that to them, so I appreciate your post to remind me just in time)! I didn't ask them to fill the wiper hole, I just want the car today if possible. Where did you get your kit?

got mine from the same place.... love it. i opted for black silicone though. one thing i did is where the plug is attached to the plexi... i stuck the nozzle of the silicone in one of the holes and filled up all under it and it even seeped up around it from the bottom... i know that thing is water tight

I got my rear wing installed today, thanks again Mr. Sparco for the hook up! The guys here at the shop did a great job, skim coated the top, 4 coats of $500 gal. clear, polished it all up and made the whole piece smooth as a mirror. Matching the car color was definitely the thing to do over the gloss black that it was now that I can really look it over. Also, rear wiper/motor are gone, the guy put a black water tight rubber gromet in the hole for now, looks good but I'll get it done permanent soon.

Amuse type 2 rear wing:

Thanks guys! And thanks for making me do more stuff to my car hehe!

Found out today the shine/amuse front bumper cover, diffuser and side skirts will ship out Mon; turns out the delay was due to Shine being closed for over a week. MCR hood is supposed to be here about month's end. Then, some house projects, but I do want a good oil cooler setup haha!
