Default Spoiler ideas?

Now I'm starting to eyeball some nice rear spoilers; don't want a big wing or an over done funky unit. Here's what I'm looking at so far; feel free to input opinions: Amuse type 02 ($850 range), Seibon NS style carbon fiber ($525 range). I love the style of these 2 models; there are a few less expensive models too that look nice like 3d Carbon N-spec C. One good thing about a gloss CF spoiler is that it doesn't need painting, so a less expensive model custom painted would cost as much, etc.

If any of you know what I mean about these types/styles, that is what I'm interested in so please let me know what you think about the above models and any good suggestions of similar models by any quality make would be appreciated!

Any plans for a full kit? Any mid wing is going to be difficult to pull off on the stock body.

Be advised you will still want to get it cleared by a paint shop so it doesn't yellow or turn a green'ish. The NISMO spoiler seems to get a lot of hate these days but I still like it too, needs sides a front lip though.

mr.sparco has a nice low profile lip that I like too, esp when it's done in the half carbon/paint scheme.

Thanks for the info; I have a good custom shop close to my house and they could do a great job. I appreciate it! *I do like the Nismo also.

*by the way, here is a pic of the Amuse type 02; not sure if the car has a body kit installed or now, but a beauty of a spoiler:

Thanks for the info. from all of you! I've never looked into body kits; any suggestions on nice, clean looking good quality full kits? I'm sure there are plenty out there and I don't want a cheesy looking setup and you guys that have responded so far I'm sure know what you are talking about, so I'd respect any of you or other's opinions on doing enough of a kit where the type of spoiler would look balanced with. I have wanted a nice front lip setup for a long time; are side skirts necessary? I'll do it right if I can find some good options. * If I don't need every single item in a kit, that would be fine with me; maybe the most important items.

My friend bought his '07 base (nagaro red) about the time I got my '07, his came with a cool spoiler that looked great. He bought his car in Cali. and I don't know if he had them add the spoiler or not; It looks like that V-1) I'm just saying that I'm not interested in a whole new front bumper, rear diffuser or anything not necessary for the sake of installing a good spoiler.

So, any suggestions of say piecing this together like lip, spoiler and even side skirts if needed, etc?

Good looking! I just don't think I could swing such a full body setup like that awesome car.

This might be a little more than you're looking for, but I am in the process of getting a gismo v2 replica put on. I have a different rear bumper thats also about to go on which will finish off my "body kit".
Keep in mind the wing is getting painted monday along with the other bumper being put on so from the rear the wing is a bit much without the bumper.

Like SR71 mentioned above I to like the Nismo V1 style, have for years and it would be a consideration of mine.

Thanks you guys for some items to check out which I will.

As I had mentioned, I really am not looking into a full body kit anytime soon, but am definitely interested in a cool spoiler/lip setup. If any of you have good ideas, examples of what would work on my car please post up. I could do a combo (same brand) too, or mixed.

*one question I have: why would a smaller, clean looking style like V1 for example "not" be kosher on a stock Z body? Does it mess up the profile, etc? Also, if that's the case does a good quality lip kind of offset the rear spoiler?

Mr. Sparco, I've seen pics of your fine car, but could you please post some pics of it to refresh my memory? thanks to all, I'm just trying to narrow things down and want to keep body items to a minimum for now, just something that would work well. *I don't have to focus on high end items either (like Amuse for ex.), but don't want a cheap setup either; want good quality period (sounds like Obama, period).

Thanks! I like that style, but I am more into some separation from the hatch at least a bit, like the V1 does for example. I don't want a taller race wing type of thing either. Doesn't need to be CF in any way either; I'd potentially do a custom paint that would blend in "or" stand out with my smb color. Just stylish and clean looking in the types that I've mentioned; still got to check some more out.

Note: I looked at the Veilslide type 1; fancy but I'd take the Amuse type 01 or 2 over it especially since about the same price ($800 range).

Looked at some Vertex, the one that I liked is the "Lang".
