Default Remove Parking Lights = Check engine light??

I recently removed my parking lights and left them off the car for good. However, in the process, I blew a fuse. After I replaced the fuse, everything seemed fine until about 10 min ago when the Check Engine Light came on. I can't replace the bulbs anytime soon because i lost them. I'm a little worried, but Im just hoping the Check engine light will go away when I replace those parking light bulbs that I took out.

Does anyone know how to "Reset" the ecu to hopefully make this go away? Can I just disconnect then reconnect the battery?

Id be more worried that they arent related.

have you put gas in your car recently? may not have tightened the cap enough.

find it very odd for the CEL to come on due to any bulb problem.

like ares said.... the CEL is NOT "parking bulb related"

i've had no bulb in the amber strip since i got my car over six months ago and never had a CEL.

i'd suggest you take it to a mechanic or the dealership to see whats wrong.

2? thought they were only on 1 fuse. its possible, but still seems unlikely.

I think what I did was replace my fuses in the wrong order...right now it doesn't match the diagram on the cover (i'm not sure its supposed to) so i'm trying to get a picture of what the configuration is supposed to be.

the fuse box BEHIND the battery, not the long one in front of it.
