Default Airbag Light on Base 350z after Sparco Seat Install

Prior to buying my Sparco Pro 2000s, I looked into what all was involved with removing the factory seats.

I have tried nearly every method of resetting the airbag light (including frying a resistor), but none have worked. All of the articles I have seen are for cars equipped with SRS seat airbags, and mine did not have those. The wiring harness to the seat only contains a red, black, and orange wire.

I tried putting the 2.2 ohm 1/2 watt resistor between the orange wire and black (ground), then running the 7 second "on"/5 second "off" 3 times, but all that did was put me into a mode that looked like it was showing a code. When I looked up other tutorials, the code that my car was giving me seemed to be that the passenger sensor wasn't hooked up. I thought this is what the resistor was supposed to mimic.

Can anyone help me out? I have no problem totally disabling the airbags (so long as the light is off), as I will be going to a removable steering wheel soon anyways.

I had the same issue when I installed my recaros, I just used my spare passenger seat and ripped out the passenger airbag weight sensor in the seat and ziptied it under the new seats. Light is off
