Default Footwell lighting

Hey, I just recently got a Z and wanted to install footwell lights. I was thinking about hooking them up to the parking lights but wasn't able to find any pages about it. Do any of you guys have any pics or videos of connecting them to the parking lights? Thanks.

Why not hook them up to the dome light? That way they turn on when you open the door.

I don't like interior lighting so I keep my dome turned off so it never comes on unless I push the lights to turn them on.

I'm with 92K1500. Run them off the dome light. A forum vendor has them:

I haven't bought the footwell kit yet, but everything I've bought from them I have been completely happy and impressed with.

I think my dome lights don't work well because sometimes they'll still stay on even when all the doors are closed. I wanted to hook them up to the parking lights because I want them to stay on at night. For your dome lights, how'd you connect the wiring?

To enjoy the benefits of this forum learn to use the search function. I did my lighting a few weeks ago. I posted some extra helpful hints in that thread. Just search "footwell lighting" with option titles only.
I have the link here for you. Again let the search function be your friend

What I did was strip LED, you can get them off sonic electronics. Wired them up and just put a nice switch on the center console under the e-brake handle. Due to the led lights having such a low draw I just ran them off the Constant power wire on my double din. 3 years no problems.
