Hey everyone I was just hoping everyone could help me out with determining if these seats are authentic. Recaro's seem to be difficult to determine. Thank You.

 

The RECARO stitching looks different on my Evo X, the top of the R does not touch the E.

 

I'm not an expert bit by the picture it looks like knock offs, or a reproduction cover on a real seat body

 

According to other real Recaro's the letters shouldn't overlap like those do.

 

Honestly thats what I was thinking but you never hear of fake Recaro's unlike all the Brides on ebay but I appreciate the comments. If anyone has any other things they would like to point out please do, im sure others would like to know.

 

The sale thread they are on here aren't worth $1200, but $600 is reasonable if that includes shipping

 

Looking at the older Recaros such those out of the Integra type R and jdm RSX the R does overlap the E. Maybe the logo on newer seats were updated like Sparco did several years back.

Looks like we got a pickle here, unless Honda/Acura and Mitsubishi uses fake Recaros both logos appear to be legit.
