Question LED headlights possible?

So I may or may not get a lot of hate for this, but I can not stand the HID headlights our cars come with, I personally think HID's look cheap and kinda tacky especially with that blue tinge to them, that being said my truck is full LED headlights that I am absolutely in love with. I've been searching around and can find little to no information on converting our cars if possible to have full LED headlights? just curious if anyone can shed some info on this or if anyone has attempted this? I'm in touch currently with Oracle lighting as they've done all my customized light work for my trucks, but I'd prefer if this was something I could do myself to save myself another large bill.

I have never seen anyone replace the HIDs with LEDs, from what i understand you would need to do a full retrofit of LED projectors there are no LED HID replacement bulbs.

Why not try the less expensive route and get some warmer HID bulbs?

what year and trim Z do you have?

"Hid looks cheap"

I blame it on ricers....

Hid was introduce in the 80 (?) And they were only availible on the high end euro cars. Theb in 2000 or so, every honda had one. Hid is basically the stance package of today. Low with some wheels and youre "killing the game"

A well build kit is expensive, with nice light output that looks sharp. The 50 bucks kit off ebay, aimed crooked, is definitely going to look cheap. I just swap mine and am fond of it. But then again i didnt cheap out on the kit.

Now I just have more questions, why would you be swapping in HIDs in a 350Z? For the high beams, or are you talking about another car?

My car was a base model and didnt have the hid option. Light output sucked and i didnt like the chrome housing.

I did the swap for better light output and i was able to paint the housing black. Took me 3 hours to aim it properly and over all im happy.

I had considered this but from what I've seen/read I won't be able to achieve the light out put I had in mind while maintaining that pure white LED look. Unless I've been miss informed on this then feel free to correct me.
