Hey there guys, i was looking around on the interwebs for some new headlights on my Z and i fell in love with a pair that i hadnt noticed were from the 03-05 gen Z's and bought them regardless. I own an 06' Z and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on a possible splice/setup to make these headlights work as im completely in love with them. ~ Apologies if this has already been asked, i searched but came up short.

Sooo youre downgrading???? Why?

 

I had an '06. I'd never downgrade to '03-'05 style. The '06 has bi-xenon lights (low and high beams are both xenon), the older ones (and the ones you posted) use halogen high beams. My vote is keep what you have.

 

Why go from nice to rice?

 

i just really liked the complexity of the headlights, i didnt know that it was actually a downgrade. But thank you for that now i know. I've been searching for a nice pair of headlights to put on my z and theze were all that really caught my eye :/ any thoughts on headlights?

 

The only things people do with the '06 is paint the chrome parts black and replace the yellow bulb with a clear one that flashes yellow.

 

I just really want my Z to be unique y'know? I dont want the headlights honestly. They just seem really basic i suppose. I got my Z and now i see alot of them and i just want my Z to feel like its mine, i guess :P idk.

 

Rims? Maybe a Stillen wing? Tinted tails and markers?

Carbon fiber EVERYTHING. Dont get those lights, theyre rice, light output sucks, and cheap chinese crap.

This is actually really badass! thanks alot, i've been doing some research on how to do that by taking off the lens n such but i couldnt find a video of them doing it to a Z so i kinda gave up, i love the halo look on cars and also wanted a black housing, Thanks so much!

 

Also im not a plasti dip fan. If anything id dig my pockets for a powdercoat finish on my wheels

I have those same lights on my Z and they were a HUGE upgrade from the stock garbage 03 lights I had. I can see much better with them.
