Default DEPO headlight upgrade issues

Question: I recently upgraded to the DEPO headlights. I have an 05 35th anniversary 350z. So I had to upgrade my bulbs to D2S and change my turn signal bulbs. After plugging everything back up, when I turn on my DRL and even with the low and high beams my rear blinkers stay on. When I use my turn signal it sounds like it's hyper linking but it won't blink. When I leave the lights off and cut on my turn signal, both blink as well as my tail lights as if I had my hazards on. Any insight would be great, thanks. SIDENOTE: I don't think this matters, but I also had the headlights modified before receiving them(demon eyes/iron man)

When lights are on

Top orange LEDs active??

I'm pretty sure yes. Only thing I had to transfer from the old unit was the HID ballasts and the actual bulb cap.

Sounds like something isn't wired correctly. Who did the demon eyes? I just installed depo headlights on my Z and my neighbor did some as well at the same time, both are working flawlessly. I upgraded from an 04 with factory HIDs and had to notch my bulb housings, he upgraded from beat 2006 HID housings and was just a direct swap

Definitely a wire issue. Do the demon eyes just come on once you turn on the parking light. (BTW that is extremely illegal) I hope you have a switch for the demon eye and not hardwired into the parking light.

mine did the same thing. turned out my blinker bulbs weren't plugged in all the way. you have to really put some force on them lol. it might be something different for you though considering you have the demon eyes.

Eh, it's not illegal everywhere. light color/modification regulations vary from state to state. In Kentucky, there is no color restriction, the lights just cannot strobe or flash.

Actually red and blue lights on the front are illegal everywhere due to impersonating an officer which is a federal crime.

There is nothing in KRS 189.040 in regards to headlight color. Simply restrictions to flashing or strobing.
Underglow is also not restricted by color, as long as it is not flashing, and the actual bulb/diode may not be visible.

It may not have it for headlights but they clearly state no red or blue nights in the FRONT of the car.

Edit:

No motor vehicle, except those designated under KRS 189.910 to 189.950 as
emergency vehicles, shall be equipped with, nor shall any person use upon a vehicle
any red or blue flashing, revolving, or oscillating light or place a red light on the
front thereof. This subsection shall not apply to the use of red flashing lights on
school buses or to stop lights or turn signals at the rear of any motor vehicle.

Yea, driving around with demon eyes on are a 100% sure fire way to get pulled over. There is no law stating that you cannot be PARKED with them on. That is the big thing, sure park and turn it on. Driving though? Turn that **** off.

I have the same headlights and I cut the blue wire going to the turn signals. I think it was for daylight running lights.
