Default Bumper Chip Protection

So I live in an area where a lot of people have gravel driveways. Just 1000 miles after getting my car painted my front bumper is chipped to hell . Bad enough that I'll be getting it repainted soon. I'm looking for protection for my bumper and hood.

I see older posts talking about 3M Clear Bra, but I don't see it for sale anywhere. Is it the same as the 3M Scotchgard Clear Paint Protection Film?
https://www.amazon.com/Scotchgard-Clear-Paint-Protection-96-inches/dp/B004VG7336/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1490831449&sr=1-4&keywords=clear+bra https://www.amazon.com/Scotchgard-Clear-Paint-Protection-96-inches/dp/B004VG7336/ref=sr_1_4?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1490831449&sr=1-4&keywords=clear+bra

If so, is this still the best way to go or is there something better now?

The 3M protection films are not easy to apply. I'd suggest getting some estimates from a pro window film or other application service if you want to have it look halfway decent.

Find someone to install it for you. I had one installed for $350 in So Cal. Looks great can't tell anything is there. Mine is a Suntek, however there are other brands such as 3m and xpel. They also sell precut kits, but the cost was the same as having mine cut at the shop and installed. I also had a slight custom installation because of shaved front Nissan emblem.

+1 on dkmura's post. Find a detailer or body shop with experience doing this wrap. Gl!

Had that 3M shid on my black Nismo.... hated it and was going to have it professionally removed. It was either live with hating the haze every day or live with chips over its lifetime.

Did neither, sold the car cuz it bugged me so bad.

Dealer wanted to charge me $1150 for 3M clear bra on my white Niz. Made them apply the worthless value of that to our service contract extending it to 5 years. Never paid a dime for maintenance on it. That expires this year..... daughter on her own.

Thanks for the input. So can anyone tell me if the link I posted is basically the same as 3M clear bra?

Yes it is. As others state here, it's difficult to install. If the installation is less than perfect, it appears "cloudy" or faded.

I'm waiting to get a quote back from a local tint shop.
