I just bought my first 350z this week and I’m absolutely loving it but I have no ideas what this extra key thing is. Can someone tell me what it is?

i have searched the forum with no luck so far.

 

Doesn't look factory, neither does the key actually.

 

Both do have the Nissan logo on them. Hopefully someon knows 😊

 

My guess is it's a NZ-spec Z33 key and some type of security key. I'd take them to a NZ Nissan dealer and ask service or parts for details.

That key is pretty cool, wonder if it would work on US spec cars

Awesome! It was bugging the shid out of me cuz I knew I'd seen that somewhere here before!! Thanks for letting me know I'm not crazy, er, crazier than I am.

Interestingly, the same thought I made in that thread popped up on this thread looking at that pic.... "James Bond device...." Hahahahaha....at least I'm consistent in my silly thought processing.
