I like the two tone look of the R tune and was thinking of leaving the bottom portions of the body kit carbon fiber and the top portions silverstone. If I did this, any of you think I should paint the carbon fiber wing, parts of it.......suggestions please. Currently, I am leaning toward paining the whole wing. Maybe I could paint the base silverstone with the black piece on the back and leave the actual spoiler carbon fiber????? I have about a week to make up my mind!!!! I'll post pics when done. Oh yeah.......Kinetix plenum on its way!!
Same thoughts here. NISMO VIS kit goes on early next week and
not sure how to style the wing. I kinda like the
center piece of the base black or Cf. I am Leaving
the lip on the bumper CF I am probably gonna end up
painting the whole wing CS. No matter what that will look good.

I'm definately going to leave the CF on the bottom portions of the kit, but the spoiler!!!!! It would look nice, but I'm going for a clean subtle look. Maybe I can have the top of the spoiler painted with the bottom of it left cf. like Air Force planes with the top painted different than the bottom. ?????? Would definately be unique.

Unpainted CF is ghey. It makes you look like you don't have enough money to paint the bodykit (i.e. Civic ricers).

The purpose of CF is strength and weight reduction, not bling. IMHO.

I agree trackstar....too much is just too much. I do, however, like the two tone look with my car silverstone and the very bottom portions of the NISMO kit in carbon fiber. That would be a nice accent. I think that I am just going to paint the spoiler. I think I've made my mind.

Thumbs up Gotter Done

Hey guys i finally got a chance to take some pictures of the finished product, Believe it or not the Nissan dealer sent me to a Chevy dealer to have it painted and installed. They did it for low price of $200. That included primer, paint, clear and installation. The good news is that the paint matches perfect. Thanks to Andy for helping me and the Guys at the shop out with installation. I'm really happy with the way it looks. Also got my Injen CAI installed....Hurry up street sweepers and get those rocks off the road. I'm attaching a few pics for your viewing pleasure.

Default Great NW

DrCold, Ya I used to live in CDA now I'm just across the border in Liberty Lake. Hope to see you driving around one of these days. I was actually driving on i-90 the other day and saw a Z pass on the opposite side of the freeway who flashed his lights...was that you? LOL

Could have been. I flash my lights to every Z i see, new and old. I work in Spokane at Group Photographers Assoc. (its in the U-City mall under ICT).

The easist way to tell if its me, are the Volks, and the clear reflectors. And im usually waving like a madman.

Jay lives here in Spokane too, we usually hang out all the time. Me and a 300zx (supercharged!) guy are trying to start up some sort of local area Z club, but we're not sure how to get the word out.

Hey, are you going to go over to Seattle on the 20th? Jay and I went last year, and it was a pretty good time. We are planning on going again this year. If you want you could caravan with us or something. Check this thread for a bit more info: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....threadid=60055
