If trademarks are an issue....maybe we can distribute/ship these through us??? Just a thought as I would really like to see this work.

 

To everyone on this thread, After talking to my wife Erika about this project we have decided to go for it! This project has been on the shelf for appox. 6 wks. I did send the Nissan emblem back yesterday at noon EST to Terminator now he needs to return it back to me. My Z roadster is still on order and the arrival date should be very soon.

I called my man this morning of whom I have not spoken to for the last 6 wks. He said that the supply cost for materials have skyrocketed since we last met. This company is the best in the country with the highest quality of materials & UV protection for plastic & etc. Also the highest quality of workmanship.

I have to increase my price by $5.00 to $40.00 per emblem from my original proposal that I made several days ago on my file. This proposal was also sent to Terminator yesterday morning via e- mail.

Here's my proposal and please their will be no deviations.

OK guys...If your sincere about this emblem and you want to back me up 100% with this project, you need to put up your money just like I have to put up mine. I will than know for sure who's in or out and we will all be on the same bandwagon. This is a very expensive propostition and risky.

Here's the deal...for starters...only to the guys with-in the USA for now. I have to "crawl before I can walk". Later on their will be pics & pay pal set-up & etc. for the rest of the world.

Please..If you want to jump on the bandwagon; you need to send me a U.S certified money order or a U.S. bank cashier's check along with a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) IMMEDIATELY for the full amount you plan on spending. No personal checks for now. No P.O. Box address. - So it's going to take some effort on your part getting the money order & etc. -

The reason for the SASE is that for some reason or another the MFGT. cannot meet my specs. & quota on this emblem then the job will be cancelled out and all your money will be returned quickly as possible.

You have to trust me with my knowledge and common sense. If it's going to be good enough for my Z....it's good enough for you too! If I accept the final prototype than you are accepting as well. No returns!

A lot of time has been lost and more time is needed especially that I just sent back the emblem to Ternminator yesterday.
Probably 6 week's (I'm guessing). I will post up-dates on the thread as they occur.

The cost is $40.00 per emblem plus $10.00 postage, handling & etc. (postage fee to cover up to 4 emblems) A reduction of the p&h fee for Jeff@Performance will be offered because of his quantity of a couple dozen.

This is going to be a in & out deal for me...I do have records of the guys who showed interest out-side the USA. I will save an "x" amount for them. Just as a reminder, if your considering buying 2 you might want to buy 3...God forbid you are involved in an accident or if the emblem is stolen you won't be able to replace it! (Just a thought)

Sounds like you have it all planned out, but I'd like to see the prototype myself before putting money down. I'm in for 2 at $40 a piece if I like the way it looks and I might have to wait for Jeff to get them first.

 

I'll absolutely buy 2 as well but I'm with Nismokid. If Jeff at performance is willing to reserve a set for me I'll buy from him & pay more if I have to. Not to offend you sluggo, but Jeff has done a lot of business with members here & is highly respected by all. I'd rather spend more if need be especially if I'm paying for a product that is not yet in existance.

Hey Jerry, as soon as I get my emblem I will mail it back to ya with the a cashier's check for $90.00 (2 emblems plus postage and handling). Tell your wife Erika thanks for convincing you to reconsider this project. FYI, I am going on vacation this Sunday so if I dont receive the emblems by this Saturday there could be some delay getting the Nissan emblem back to you. Wish me luck as I try to conquer Pebble Beach Golf course!

things are lookin' very good! Hopefully by next Friday at noon EST the latest I'll will post whether this project has a excellent chance of succeeding. Are we all together or not?

Please remember what I said about the costs are skyrocketing...that is no joke. The first 9 days are very critical.

 

I forgot to mention this...to the new guys from out of the country who PM'd me yesterday...your on the list! Again I will honor the emblems for the "out of the country guys" that did show interest from the beginning. Also for the guys who want to wait...please don't take the CHANCE because the way things are going there is a very,very, good chance of not having any to SELL. Personally, I don't understand why you need our money before you even know if the product can be produced by your source. If you confirm a product can in fact be produced then I'll consider sending you my money.

1. You are putting up your hard earned money just like I have to.

2. You are buying into a item unseen...it's the same as Wall Street offering an initial new stock with unseen results. The only difference is your money is fully refundable guaranteed! That is why it's important to include a SASE (self-addressed stamped envelope) for a return of your money IF THE RIDID STANDARDS ARE NOT MET. The risk side is your buying what I'm buying if I decide to go with the emblem.

3. You are dealing with 2 companies. 1 very large - 1 very small family run speciality shop who claims to be one of the best in the country...I do not know but will see later on.

4. What came to my mind from the very beginning was ...I'm sure you seen the TV show..Orange County bike show when they have to send out for a part or a special seat and the item comes back with workmanship that is sort of unbelievable. This is what I'm looking forward to when I make my final decision to go or not to go!!!.

5. For the new guys...Please...I just don't have time time to answer anymore questions. Do your homework and read up on all the pages so you fully understand what you are getting into with your money.
