Know what! I was just thinking of another project the other day. What would everyone think of finding someone that could chrome plate our Engine Cover? I think this would look VERY NICE with a polished phelmn

 

He sent me a check today for the full amount. It's too bad this didn't work out. I had a gut feeling this was going to happen and I wish my gut was wrong. That emblem would have looked great.

 

This has gone on so long but I remember that there was a second person who was going to have this made on his own after the disagreement with sluggo. What ever happened to him?
Maybe I shouldn't even bring this up. We'll probably have another 19 pages that will take us through to Christmas.

 

If I had the money, Id go ahead and spot it to get 500...I mean Im sure there would be no problem selling the rest...I might check up on that...Ive reeled in over $5000 in comission this month extra...maybe Ill hold off on the supercharger...maybe make some profit...anyone still have the site/# to the people he was talking to who make the emblems?

it looks like my guy will build an emblem out of billet aluminum for me i will post a pic when it's complete if you guys like it then maybe it can be produced

the guy creating this emblem for me is in livermore here is a link to his website

www.amesaudio.com look at the work he can do on the audio side he is going to take a whack at it if it looks like $hit i'll post a pic and scrap the idea if it looks good i will post a pic and we will go for orders. also it might end up plastic maybe aluminum don't know yet

 

I think that everyone here is still interested and if it turns out ok, you will get a tremendous response. (I hope). If the prototype doesn't meet your standard and you don't think it's worth the cost, then at least you tried and I think that will be the end of the subject. I personally have my fingers crossed that it does.

 

i know for a fact I'm going to make my own from my existing emblems like the original guy, but hopefully better. I have a few different ideas to get the different finishes...Maybe if Im happy with it, who knows...

Glad to hear from you. It's been so long since anyone posted about the emblem, I thought it was said and done. I'm sure things will pick up again once everyone see how the prototype come out.
