I'd like 2 also. Can you have the pricing posted once it is available?

Why would the replacement part have no "guide prongs" on the back??

OK - I can give you a bit of an update since I put my front Courtesy Z emblem on about an hour ago.

To answer your question, Courtesy have had a plastic base made which appears to be closely based on the front burger. The front burger has two holes on the back and there are 2 guide prongs which stick out from the bumper on to which it fits.

Hence the replacement part doesn't have guide prongs because it wouldn't fit on the front if it did. I assume it would not have been cost effective for Courtesy to have different front and rear bases made - but you'd need to ask them if you want to be sure.

Cheers

Stuart

Ok guys, I have an update. It looks as though the emblems will be pretty inexpensive... there is not a firm price yet, but from the looks of it. about $30 each... please DO NOT quote me on this, it could be more or less... this is just a rough estimate. It turns out that the finish that most of us seem to want (similar to the 350z factory emblem) is less expensive than the chrome. We are still in a design phase... there is NO production yet. What I'm looking for right now is the estimated demand for these and any additional ideas for the emblem itself... I'm still not sure if I can get a demand for 500 of these and I don't want to be stuck with 400 emblems. lol. So guys, give me some Ideas and we'll all decide on what they'll look like. I'll be out of town this weekend without internet access so just post here.

I strongly feel they should look the the picture i've been posting on the orange car. You don't want the whole emblem to be that satin silver finish, becuase then the "Z" won't stand out. I really think the whole emblem should look exactly like the picture, so the "Z" and the three dots on each side really stand out.

Everyone with me ?

I agree, the one pictured on the Orange car is "the" one. And if it can be done for $30.00, that's a bonus.

Yeah, I really think that should be "THE ONE" without any alterations.

How about re-posting the picture again. The original picture was posted by alindo so I'm not sure which one you posted and are proposing to have created. Just so there's no confusion....

Thanks

Here is the EXACT DESIGN I think we should go with. No changes in colors, design, or anything.

Hey Webiteks....What is going on here! I sent you an e-mail and you have not responded to a very simple question. So I'll post it now on this thread. This is for USA owners only for the time being. My question is...If your planning to remove your back emblem can you do it now or if you know for certain to solve my dilemma. Does the rear of the car have 2 holes or not! Thank you very much.

SluggoZ,

I'm very sorry for not responding! My e-mail is acting up and I haven't been getting e-mails from hardly anyone. I was wondering if you were going to e-mail me or not :-)

As to the removing the emblem on my rear hatch. . . I am not going to do it yet becuase I'm going to have it all done when I put on the Stillen Replica wing. I haven't even ordered the wing yet, so it will be a few weeks until I would be able to remove mine.

Is there anyone else out there that can help SluggoZ? He is willing to contribute alot of his time to this project, maybe we all can help him out a bit :-)

Respectfully,
Chris

There ya go SluggoZ! Did you get the emblems from anyone yet? If not, I saw that E-bay had a set of front and rear emblems on there for dirt cheap. Maybe consider going that route if you need a mold?

SLuggoZ - does that mean that you are just going to wait and see if the plan A with that one company pans out, and go from there ?

iklm, Thanks, but I did say USA owners! I just had another thought, the car that I thought I SAW with no emblem on the rear at the dealership was a '04 convertible. Maybe their is a difference between the coupe and convertible?

Webiteks, Terminator is sending me his front emblem. As soon as I receive the emblem, I'm still going forward with Plan B so their is no more time wasted. This will be the back-up!

Sounds great SluggoZ!

All I need is the front emblem anyway. From your experience, and skills - do you think you will be able to create an emblem that looks JUST LIKE the one in the picture? If so, then I will contribute quite a bit of money to you for your hard work and quality!

Webiteks....Just for now...Let's wait and see what Scott comes up with! I forgot to mention that my car is a roadster. So maybe their is no holes on the roadster model? I just don't know yet. At the present time I do not want a emblem on the rear. Just my preference. (hopefully, no holes exist on roadsters)
