Default 350z Convertible Standalone

Hello everyone,

New to this forum, veteran of others. Currently working on a 04 convertible AT. The car has had all of it's wiring removed except for the convertible top wiring.
Because the donor swap and wiring are not from this car I've had to disect the wiring aspect of the convertible.

From the research of the system i've done on the FSM it seems like the system can be isolated from the Z33 and doesnt necessarily need to communicate to operate.

Upon operation I get the storage lid to open and close, Motors have been confirmed to work (hot wired) however it seems like I might have 5th bow position switch issues.

The top is in 4/10 shape, streched bands, no rear window, hole on the top, almost no flexibility. According to the owner "it works" which I've confirmed that to be half true but I'm optimistic about it.

Wanted to get some feedback on those that have gone down the road of limit switches and what to look out for. I plan on testing the switches eventually

Here's a pic of the car
