cleared headlights: pics + review on job by w1ngman
I got my headlights cleared this past weekend, and I absolutely love them!
my350z.com member w1ngman did the job, more on that shortly.
I ordered the evostyle turn signals, and replaced my running lights with hyperwhites, and of course the amber strip removed. The outcome is simply gorgeous IMO.
Now last thing before the pics, but definitely worth reading - I highly recommend w1ngman to those of you wishing to clear your headlights. He's right near Richmond, VA so if you can make it out there I would definitely say do it. He did it all in his garage and kitchen, and I'm not exagerating at all when I say this : He did the whole job with surgical precision. He was so careful to get everything just perfect, it was awesome just to see the whole process being done.
Dave (w1ngman) is a great guy, helped me out with the hyperwhites, and just overall an awesome person. Thanks again, I'm more than 100% happy with how everything turned out
Now on to the pics...

The hyperwhites are simply awesome in person. These pics do not do them justice! The blue bulbs themselves really match the paint, which I like. I ended up buying two sets of the bulbs - one for the parking lights to be replaced, then a second set to replace those other running lights where the amber strip went before. I really like the look. Plus they really match the HID's, it simply looks sweet.

Yes Ben, as far as I know, Ares is the fellow board member selling aftermarket inserts if you want to have those installed during the clearing out of the amber ones. For folks that drive to me, I'm charging $150 to remove, clear, and reinstall folks headlamps into their Zs & Gs. That is my fee for my service...the inserts would be a separate purchase with Ares.
Thanks for the compliments... And Drew, your car looks awesome with those crystal clear corners now .
