Default 7 led sidemarkers (luxeon) and stock kickplates *PICS*

Well, I finally recieved my LED sidemarkers and along with that I also recieved some stock kick plates a bought from onecoolee on here. Both were in excelent condition. Here are some picutres of it all installed. Total installation for the kick plates took about 5 minutes for both sides (truly easy) and the led install took about 2 hours. I also wired the switch to be able to turn the leds on and off as I choose, tell me what you think guys.

My only gripe is the time it took for the LED's to get to me. I kept in contact with ares, and although he couldnt do much he did try to help me with the little information he gave. He assured me that the time it was taking to get to me did not reflect the normal ammount of time it takes, must have gotten routed wrong or something. None the less, I suggest that any of you that order from Ares as least suggest for him to get a tracking number of some sort, that way you wont be guessing if or when they are coming in. Either way thank you both, Ares and Onecoolee the products sent were great!

I like everythig but the switch placement, but thats obviously not a big deal. The black kickplates look good, havent seen those before. I am indiferent to them compared to the aluminum ones though.

The reason the switch is where it is really holds a few reasons. One, drilling into an ash tray is NOT permenant and can easily be replaced if/when i sell the car. Two, I dont want it in the way of anything and I want it hidden as possible. Having the switch there eliminates the hastle of having to wire it through to somewhere different and again makes a very non-permenant solution. Third, i still put all of my change into the compartment where the switch is, it just looks better not having the thing standing out liek a big silver switch in the open that hardly does anything at all.

so how did you end up wiring your leds? was it hard to route the wires into the cabin/ash tray?

Actually i ran the wire along the engine bay under a few small curls in the metal. It is mostly hidden and i ran them down the door and under the weathering strip then under the steering column to the center console and to the ashtray VERY VERY reversible and VERY easy.
