That thing was discussed before and I am certain it will do little, if anything, to reinforce the car. The parts are far too small to have any real strength plus they appear to just bolt together. Save you money the car is fine the way that it is.

 

I've seen in it person.. those pieces are very strong and they are bolted on strong attachment points.. did seem to add rigidity to the body.. i gave their Z healthy pushes on the roof with the doors open and it was a lot stiffer than my Z when i did the same.. but then again I'm not structural engineer.. but i think a well constructed roll bar can do the same and provide the added safety benefit

 

i have the same thing on both sides, glad to see I'm not alone.

 

my 350z has them too. My paintless dent removal guy said every single 350 he has seen has that. its not from chassis flex. its just the way the plastic is.

 

Actually, myZ had them demples, so do two of my friends Z's. Mine are very minor and didnt notice until one of my friends pointed it out to me. I doubt it has anything todo with how stiff the chassis is.
