What do you guys think of the INGS +1 Z-power wing?

Putting this wing on a Z is not like throwing in on a civic ( a car that was not meant to be tracked). Not to mention it's half the height of the other god aweful race wings.
Your rice comment is unfounded. If you're going to mount an argument based on the fact that the wing won't be functional for my purposes, then depending on how you use your car, I could call your entire car rice (assuming your definition of rice is all show no go). For example, if you don't track your car it's basically rice. Hence, all show and no go.

Settle down Beavis!!!!!!!
I forget of course to add the allmighty IMO.
I guarantee its not just My opinion though. That wing just asks for too much attention.
Sure it may be functional, but not at autox or track speeds.
That wing is for a flat out RACE CAR, not for what most of us here are trying to accomplish which is the ulimate street legal automobile.
The type of car that deserves to wear that wing would not only be too expensive for the majority of us too mod, but it would be completely impossible to drive on the street!

First of all I said "gives it a race inspired functional look". Second of all you didn't recongize the fact that throwing a wing on a civic and throwing a wing on a 350z are two different things, and third you never addressed the second half of my post. If you're claiming that the wing belongs on a car that wouldn't even be street legal, then you are implying that the only mods that belong on a 350z are mods that should be purely functional. Now I don't know how you use your car, but if you don't race your 350z, then isn't your entire car non-functional? No need for the stiff suspension/engine power/tires/6-speed tranny.
So my whole point is, that if you think that the low mount CF wing is "rice", which is ultimately "posing", then you're pretty much saying that 80% or more of Z drivers shouldn't even own their car. If you have a rebuttle, please focus on everything I've said, rather than just one sentence.

I am now looking into getting a veilside v2 wing, which I am sure is non-functional, but I think it goes with the car.
I classify rice as something intended to make a car look racy that doesnt go, or looks stupid.
That wing is not that bad, but it just doesnt blend in with the lines of the Z.
But who cares thats just my opinion!

See, my whole point in the other thread is that if you don't race your car, then every performance mod you do is rice, because although it CAN go, it doesn't really. Cept maybe on a streatch of highway or something. I mean, say you go FI. Are you really going to use 450HP? Most people won't. It's just for the temporary thrill/rush of dragging, and bragging rights. Other than that it's like "posing". And "posers" fall in the same category as "ricers" Do you see what I mean? :P
Anyways I'm not mad at all. I just like to argue.

Race inspired or not. Rice or not. I don't seem many street JUN cars running around my neigborhood. It may have all the great features you describe but it all comes down to one thing. The wing no matter how you describe it looks like S**T. Rice is rice and that has Uncle Ben in the passenger seat.you also said "I classify rice as something intended to make a car look racy that doesnt go, or looks stupid."
Thats your opinion. That wing makes the car look like a jet and I don't see it taking off, then again I don't just jump on the JDM bandwagon. The wing is crap and the JUN 350z looks like crap with it.

For clarification I posted two different wings. I think the high mount one makes the car look crappy because of the aluminum frame. I like the low one.
Your opinion is worthless to me. Atleast joust made up for most of his babble by saying something constructive about it. The fact that it doesn't really match the lines of the car. You just made some poor reference to a jet.
I'd be proud to show off a highly tuned project 350Z on a flatbed, being towed to the racetrack. Yet, I'd be embarassed to drive a car that looks like that JUN car on city streets and highways, to/from work. But that's just me and how I like to be seen.
Everyone is different and so is what appeals to them and how they want to be percieved. I often see quite a few people wearing $200 huge spaceship looking basketball shoes to the mall, that probably don't even know how to dribble. Theres even this guy with a cowboy hat I see once in a while when i'm at the bank. I doubt he rides there on a horse and I haven't ever seen a lasso on his belt.
If it makes these people feel confident, so be it, it's worth whatever it cost them.

I'll reply to this since I started a thread about this wing a while ago.
People don't bash the big Veilside wing but when the letters 'GT' pop up, put on the fire suits. Both of these perform the same function (looks only for the daily drivers) and people's opinion are like a**holes, everyone's got one
I don't like GT wings but for some reason I really like the low profile INGS+1 GT wing for the Z. In my opinion, it looks good depending on the other changes you've made to the car. One great thing about the Z is that you can personalize it 3 ways to Sunday (I don't know what that means exactly but I moved to FL 3 years ago and people say it down here). If you put this wing on ACP's car (member here who I get my parts from), it would look stupid (in my opinion) because to me his car is very classy looking. However, I would love to have this wing on my car (not classy looking).
This brings me to my next point. The are obviously people out there that would buy this wing if it weren't for the extreme price. I searched for a similar wing and found 2, one by APR and one from Top Speed Pro 1 (whose website seems to have disappeared). These 2 were close, but not exact, and didn't have the appeal of the INGS+1. I think INGS+1 have got something really good, and if someone could step in and make a good replica, there would be a market for it.

Why is it that people think wing should only belong on a race car? Most of the people who mod their car to the level we usually discuss don't even race their car! Zxsaint, you have a good amount of mods in your sig. Do you race? If not, why do you have mods that bring your car to a level you may never use? Is it wrong if other people heavily mod their car and don't race? That would seem pointless right? I don't think so. When you people give your opinions about wings, I think you don't realize that you're also indirectly voicing your opinion to people who mod their car for UNPRACTICAL purposes. Who gives a **** if function follows form! How practical or functional is art? Not at all, and yet we derive so much pleasure from it.
For those of you who complain about the "all show no go" aspect of a car, you have to realize you're probably contradicting yourself when it comes to other things in life. You people must have never done anything purely for image/looks right? I'm sure you buy all your clothes at wal-mart, you buy no name brand everything, right? WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So if it's ok to be purely image somewhere else, why is not ok for a car.
My biggest point of the evening is the plain and simple fact that our car is a sports car, created to handle track conditions! Track cars have wings. Throwing a racing wing on a 350z is COMPLETELY different then throwing one on a lincoln continental or a ford escort!
