Those with RECARO seats
What did you do about brackets/sliders? Recaro still does not have them available for the Z
I've been told to use sparco brackets/sliders and to modify them to fit. What all is involved in this?

yea, he got in my a$$ for buying the wedges! then told me he would have made me a set for $150. he is an awsome fabricator!! most of the cars from their shop have aftermarket seats, with brackets by him. i dont know what i was thinking. call www.autosolutionva.com (757-306-8686) ask for john. just tell Van Damme told you to call, he will look out for you!

DeeZee- yeah, your car is pretty awesome looking.
Sorry to hijack the thread, but speaking of Recaro, does anyone know what type of Recaros are in the widebody Top Secret car? They've got very tall side bolsters and a yellow-ish knit looking fabric down the middle with green Takata harnesses.

i think that picture is actually the tomcat? i may have it backwards but i think the tomcat is the reclining seat and the wildcat is the bucket seat with that same material.

Moroccan,
Call Speedware at 425-869-5680, or check out their website, they are acutally building my 350Z T2 Racecar. They make all the seat brackets for the Sparco and Recaro Seats and they do have them for the 350Z. Tell them I referred you.

this is an old thread ... my seats went in about 4 months ago, haha.
i ended up getting my brackets from wedge ... which were not very good, they required a few modifications in order for them to mount correctly, and they were very expensive!!
for future reference i would recommend people try speedware, unless recaro has completed their bracket for the 350z.

Recaro now offer a bracket for the 350Z ... about $40 - $60 for non-slider and i think about $200 for the one that slides ...you can call Recaro at 954-977-7130 for more info ...
