Grill + Fog Lights
I finished my new grill and fog light for my Chrome silver Z. It looks like its a factory setup. I spent over $300 to make it in parts alone. It took me about 40 labor hours to get it all together. I 'll post some photos of it ASAP. I just need time to take some photos and get them on the board. I'll try to do it tomorrow(Monday). Wait till you guys see this, you will definitely think its a factory setup and "love it". The only problem is, you will probably never be able to have one like this, because it will be too costly for someone else to design, and build it for you. Unless you want to fork out like $500. Well enuff rambling on without the photos.
I'll let my photos do the rest of the talkin' !!
BTW, THIS AINT NO $6 CHROME STRIP SETUP !!!

It looks nice but in my opinion I think Big Al's setup looks a lot better. I also like the way the $6 strip looks, don't like it in chrome but my Dad gave me an idea that might work so I'm thinking of trying it, which will leave me with $294 to put towards a half lip.
Post some pics with the lights on, I'm still interested in the finished product.

Looks good, but it also looks a lot like z2thdrz's setup (BTW his car sports a $12 Chrome Strip Setup, but he is Canada
)...

Also, for anyone that can't afford the ~$500 for this setup, Toykilla did a excellent DIY article on his $120 install (including lots of pictures and bulb type), based on big-al's install.

instead of buying a front lip, why not use the chrome strips for your front lip also, bwahhhhhh!!!!! you'll save $294, hahaha.
Get real on the chrome strips!!! they suck donkey nuts!!!
They are the cheapest, easiest way out, and they look like crap.
Everybody here spends thousands of dollars on rims, spoilers, accessories, etc... and they're stuck on the ol' chrome $6 strips.
I'm seperating my Z from the rest of the chrome strippers!!!!
Now thats comedy!!!

If I did that it wouldn't I have $288 leftover? Bwahhhhh
All I did was state MY OPINION, I thought I was clear on that. It wasn't a personal attack and I even showed a little interest in your idea, just because you're willing to try something different, by asking you to post pics.

I had the chrome door protectors for a while but grew tired of the chrome look on the red car...actually have the flat black door protectors now to cover the gap when the tow hook is installed.
I've been very interested in installing driving/fog lights before next winter's fog hits. Your install looks great. A classy job is always cheaper in the long run.
Can you provide some details? How did you manufacturer and attach the grill? What model PIAA lights did you use? approx cost? Where did you tap into the electrical system? Did you install a switch for the lights inside the car?

lol... hey seriously, i like your grille. being %100 unique makes it even better in my book. Now, i might have chosen a slightly different style of fog light myself, but that's one of those "to-each-his-own" things. yours definitely do not look bad.
