assuming its got a good fit/finish no more than say 400-500 for a good paint job. if you want a reputable shop though it could be as much as 800

I think around a $1000 for your pieces fitted, prep, painted. They might have to do some work on the rear bumper.

I just had my bodykit installed and painted. It was a little costly but both bodyshops were highly recommended and the paint and work came warrantied. The paint and installation warranty was better than the original Nissan warranty. They matched my Brickyard better than the factory did. Total cost for front lip spoiler, two side skirts, rear skirt and wing, five parts total, came out to $1500. Everything was polyurethane except for the rear wing. I think just the painting alone came out to $1000-$1200 and the rest of it was labor cost for the install. Most bodyshops will paint the part off the car and install after painting. Unless, you paint the whole car most of the parts will be butt color matched. Unlike blending, there will be a slight color difference. A good paint shop will minimize that affect to almost unnoticable.

One tip, is to bring pictures of how the kit manufacturer's model looks like. I found out that most of the instruction that come enclosed with the kit are crap leaving the bodyshop with no guidelines on the placement. Actual pictures of a real car will help them align the parts right. Look for a bodyshop that is skilled with the Sherwin-Williams process or the PPG process.

It is funny how people always freak out when they here how much it cost to paint something like a body kit.I have been a body tech and painter for ten years now and it is not as simple as just squirting some paint on it.Plus you need to understand the materials a not cheap for quality paint. And the biggest part of a good paint job is the prep work.If you want a paint job for cheap then go to maco or some hole in the wall shop but you will definatly get what you paid for.Im not trying to be a d-ck but but be serious you have a $30,000 car and most people will pay $800 for a header or something you will never see but you dont want to pay for a quality paint job that everyone will see.

Just some honest info not trying to start a argument.

How much would you think it should cost to prep, paint, and install fiberglass front bumper, side skirts, and rear skirt, Chrome Silver? I know how much prep time, quality of the kit, etc., but just a ball park.

I'm with coletta...ZRACING obviously hasn't a clue when it comes to QUALITY painting/install costs. I felt extremely lucky when a shop charged me $150 flat out to repaint my rear bumper after a minor fender bender (along with a bit of metal rework). They matched the silver perfectly, and no one can tell it was ever repainted.

Expect around $150-$200/piece for paintint, another $50-$100/piece for minor shop work or $150-$300/piece for major shop work.

zracing 100 wont even cover the cost of paint/clear. also you get what you pay for. a 100 paint job would be single spray no clear, no wet sand; crap. its gonna be at least 500 without install. expect 750 ish for good work. show quality would be over 1000 like previously stated

With a hundred bucks, you can't even roll around with the kit. Few hundred bucks you can get the kit fitted. And you'll look like my car at this point. hee hee hee

Can't wait till my car is done!

(chicken) It actually really depends on the kit .Meaning quality of fiberglass alot of cheap kits have small pinholes in the glass that have to be preped sanded and primed ,also quality of fittment. Alot of the fake kits fit like sh-t because the molds are so crappy or over used.I personally would charge about $800 to $900 paint ,prep and install a quality kit this would also include buffing out and inperfections in the paint and I would use a base coat clear coat system not some crappy single stage paint. Also that price is for a full kit front ,rear and side skirts.
