Default Opinion Requested! (Lighting)

Well first I would like to apologize for the quality of these pictures. I have a good digi cam but I just happen to be a moron and have no idea how to take glare out of a picture and such. Second, big thanks to everyone who helped out with my assinine questions. And finally....

What do you think? Should I make my parking lights white LED which blends in or go with either red or blue? I am waiting for a set of red bulbs from Ares so I'll get pictures of that later. Again I know it is tough with the picture quality, but simple "If I saw that" opinions will help. Onward..

(Odd it won't let me post a picture bigger than 640/480 or whatnot.. anyhow)

Either Blue or Red will look sick....IMO...red will match your rears better when you switch on parking lights...

Congratulations Jeregns!! I had much the same experience the first time I attempted to change bulbs.

Your pics aren't that bad...very difficult to get good shots of lighting effects. I put the white LED in mine, but the blue looks good. You and your buds should be able to decide, as I'm sure the effect is different in person. Well done. Can't wait to se the demon RED on your Z.

Umm I think that would be noticable illegal and also the white one looks the pest with the blue it would look like cheap knock off hids and with red it would just look stupid.
so go with the white ones.

I has the RASE blue LEDs, but they were we just too blue compared to my 5000k HIDs. You could see a clear distinction between the blue and the white HID light (I didn't like that look IMO), but I had hoped the blue would make the entire housing bluish and blend everything in. I'm going to eventually get the white LEDs so they'll match the HIDs.

go for white. blue/red are colors you shouldn't have up front anyways, so you'll save yourself a ticket (not that you are always going to get one, but your odds of getting one increases tremendously)

Go with white... red and blue just wouldn't work well with officers.

Leave one blue and one red.... and watch everyone pull off to their right when you come from behind.

Seriously, the white will probably look the best. You don't really see it's brilliance now but once you're in the concrete sea of halogens it will look alot cleaner and bright.

Heh heh, nice Zephyr. Well I have to say I am kinda dumb for not taking a pic before of my xenons on with one of the parking bulbs still being a stock halogen. I think that with the white LED it makes the xenon light look a lot ... purer?... I just never liked the halogen in there with my purtty white xenons. Anyhow I'll keep everyone up to date.

I have PIAA LED's installed for the parking lights. In conjunction with the HID's it looks VERY pure. At certain angles it shifts to a slight tint of blue.

I agree...the stocker halogen parking lights need to be discarded. They make every 350z's headlights off color and nasty.

What size did you use, 194s? How much and where did you get it from? Thanks in advance.
