Just curious,
But the 350z cluster prints are amber, how did you guy plan to change that to white or something that blue led will show?
Changing the amber led to blue is do able, but the prints?

If they have been doin this for so long, why don't you get them to come on here and make a thread, since you obviously can't get anything done right. You work all these ppl up, but haven't gotten anywhere.

If its taken this long for pics, who knows how long it will take for ppl to get theirs done?

Let me know if you want them (i think i took some..., if not, i will reinstall it when the new set gets here, the one they sent me virst did not have a rev light).
Jun, sorry for the late reply. I've been pretty busy with school and now I'm sick :-(

Please send me some pictures of the internals of the cluster. I don't care much for the gauge faces. I'd like to see how the backlighting works. From there I can figure out the power source for the Luxeon. If the lighting is typical incandescent, then I can run my Luxeon from there since it's about 12-14.4V on tap. If the lighting is all LED (surface mount.. i.e. those lil blocks that light up amber), most likely I'll need power somewhere else because the power feeding the stock amber LEDs won't be enough to drive Luxeon.

We need custom faces with print that is clear/white. I've always wanted blackout faces (think about how those warning indicators work). Instead of amber, I want clear so I can configure the gauge lighting with whatever color I want. Since the gauges light up when the ignition is on..... it's a good start since there's no need to mod that part.

I don't know why vendors would ONLY offer white/silver gauge faces with amber print.

ok one more time for you fanatics, here goes. i didnt not get a free set nor did i get a set period, this is why there is no pics, see i changed my mind on getting guages, not my stock guages but my aftermarket gauges you know like boost and egt and fuel pressure......!! and those guages light up the same color as my stock guage cluster, so why would i change them if there fine that way. ............. maybe perhaps i need to write in simplier words!!!! as for the company they are fast at what they do, i called them up and said can you make this happen, 3 days later they did, unfortunately i cant use them so if you wanna contact them he has a blue gauge cluster waiting for someone........ does that answer your questions now!!!

^^ at least, learn how to to use paragraphs and use ???s when you ask a question not !!!

So you got everyone worked up for this because you wanted to do it and now that you've changed your minds, you leave everyone in the dust? You couldn't even take the time to take some pics of the gauge cluster?

jon350z got his gauges done from NR Auto. They are now offering them, for a pretty reasonable price too, http://www.nrauto.com/ .

Got my NR Automotive guages in aluminum installed about two weeks ago. I love the way they look in the day time, but not as much at night. The light washes through more than I had hoped. It may have as much to do with the light colored background (versus dark in stock) as anything.

YARGH!!!!! Tell me someone is going to offer to do a blue conversion. Damnit! Accordfreak.. what did you do? I read a few of the posts so I guess you took out the clusters and just placed blue tint over the back of the panels? Lemme know.

no, blue tint won't be sufficient enough to have that DEEP blue.. you'll only have sky blue with regular bulbs and blue tint. I replaced the regular bulbs with blue LEDs with resistors in order to obtain that DEEP blue.. i explained in the links.

Well, if you guys are wondering how the Z cluster lights up, the gauge itself has amber prints, which are iluminated by amber light from behind (red light for the needle).

I have the aluminum gauges as well. And i like them.

I emailed NR Auto about them making me a custom gauge face, they told me they would need at least 100 orders to make a change. Oh well, I do understand it isn't worth the cost unless you get a certain quantity. Guess i'll be asking some other companies.

Scroll up, that's the only pics we have, is the G35c. ZXRage was supposedly setting up something to completely replace the lights and gauge face.
