Question Momo Steering Wheel Hub Avail?

I would like to install a Momo wheel but from what I've been finding out, momo does not make a wheel hub for the Z yet. Still, I know it can be done because people are already have momo steering wheels on their car. Which hub adapter are they using?

I searched for 3 weeks before I found a company in California who had one. Now I can't remember the companies name! doh! lol.

Anyway, I found this one and it will work for sparco and momo steering wheels. This is the exact price I paid for mine. I'm sure this one is imported from Japan, therefore the air bag kill connector will not match up. You'll either have to make your own adapter, remove the light, or just put up with a flashing air bag light.

Good luck!

Here's a pic of mine.

Oh yea, don't forget to sell your drivers side air bag and clock spring. That should pay for your new steering wheel and hub, and a quick disconnect if you want. (at least $400 for the air bag and $150 for the clockspring)

Anyone with a 350z who's had an accident and had their air bags deploy will need them. If they buy a new drivers side airbag, I think it's around $1200.00, not sure, it might be more. I think the clockspring sells for around 500.00.

I would have a mechanic remove the clockspring, because if you don't do it correctly, you will spring it and it will be ruined.

The Momo hub from the Z32 (300ZX ) will work on Z33 (350Z) and G35... only around $60. It is kind off ugly though... and Splash makes a shorty one for around $190 which won't bring the steering wheel too close to the driver, which is important when you use a quick release.

Just ordered MOMO pilot wheel and splash hub from sp engineering. FYI, there is no airbag light kill switch for the splash hub. Does anybody know how to take care of that? Thx.

You can get the correct airbag resistors and then you have to take it to the dealer for reset.

Trial and error I suppose, but I never went to that length since I was screwed once I removed all of my other airbag equipment

No I don't. I remember however that once you remove the steering wheel there is a yellow and orange harness. If I recall you should put resistors in the yellow one, and then see if the resistors worked. If your SRS light is tripped, even if you put in the correct resistors...I think the SRS light will stay on unless the dealer resets it for you. Could be a bit of a PITA
