hehe, well it is still at the bodyshop!
Everyone else does it, leaves us hanging for a week or so with no pics and our patience going crazy! I couldn't stand it so i figured I would do it to all those that have done it to us!
what's getting done you ask?
*Re-painting my bodykit
*molding my Vizage fiberglass sideskirts to the original sideskirts, (no not to the body)
*painting engine covers blue/black
*Seibon VS hood leaving CF
*filling in the rear wiper hole as if it was never there!
*putting FairladyZ emblem on back (the old datsun cursive style one)
*powdercoating my doorhandles diamond black (color of my wheels)
*painting the mesh inserts throughout the body kit black (they were originally silver)
Once I get it back I will be installing
*Injen SES 1985c straight tip exhaust
*Tein Basic Coilovers
*Hawk Brake pads
*Blue Samco hoses
*Blue Z-Xtreme grounding kit
*air guide

you went on a modding rampage....
couple of things though
handles are plastic so you have to paint them not powdercoat
and also...replace the burger with the cursive emblem and take off the "350z" emblem...it looks nice like that ive seen it

I did sell the exhaust to him, but I already ordered a new one and will be here to install when i get the car back.
paint/powdercoat/powdercoat/paint... I am stupid when it comes to this. Thanks for the heads up though!
as far as the emblem on the back, i am taking off all badges and replacing it with the cursive emblem in the middle like you mentioned!

thanks! I can't wait either!
Just found out that my hood had to be sent back upon delivery because it was cracked and chipped near the vent...
I probably won't get the hood put on for 2 weeks. I have to send it back, then they have to go through the claim process. Hopefully they will just send a hood now and not after the whole process is finished...

ok, so STILL WAITING on my car! I am in pain... I have been without the car almost 2 weeks.....everything is basically done except for the Seibon hood we are waiting on, and the molding of the sideskirts are taking a bit longer too! It will be worth the wait though!
Good thing is Seibon shipped out another hood at the end of last week so it should get here today or tomorrow, Seibon handled very quickly and easy! I am glad about that!
Hmm, on the "why do i love black so much" question. It is just a theme on my car, so I am going with it. Blue and Black. I love Blue more than black, but most of the stuff I will be changing will be black/CF. so that's why, it would seem as if I did love it, Black looks hott though, aggressive ya know!?
So, I am guessing that I won't be able to pick up the car until Friday night, Saurday morning. I will post pics quick cause I have a DIGI!!
a MOD MUST for a beautiful car!

hey kat, i saw your car yesterday when i went up to the shop to check on my sisters car. man those guys are sure taking a long time to finish my sister's car. I think they are making sure everthing is done perfectly. As for your car they have it all apart. and all the old paint is sanded sanded and primered. and your your side skirts are molded. just thought you might want to know

especially since I thought that I would have the car by Saturday morning cause I wanted to go to a DFW meet, but need the car early enough to drive down to Texas in time! I talked to Harold today and he said something about the paint, can't rememeber though. I am thinking that they might have the car another week now.... what do you think? Hound them for me would ya!? I want my car back so bad, and I well, kinda need it back too...good thing is the hood showed up today undamaged! yay! and although I am impatient, I would rather them be perfect and take a little extra time, I know it will turn out great! It better....

what's funny is I will probably have an appointment set up to get the stereo installed before I ever get the car back from Accent....
