Default seat rails

whats up guys. I need some help. I am Over 6 feet tall and I have grown out of my Z. I measure 6"4'. I was wondering if anyone know's of a kit that can lower the factory seat more. Maybe a replacement seat rail or something. Thank you. I really need all I can get, I would prefer at least two inches but again i will take ll i can get. Peace! I'll post up a Picture later so you all can laugh at how I manage to sit and drive around.

I'm 6'4" also. I put the seat all the way back and lean it back to about the back of the window. It doesn't look like i'm that far back when i'm in it but no one else can reach the pedals when they sit in it, especially my sister who is 5'2". I don't have that much of a problem with it. I appreciate the inch or so extra i have versus in my 00 Celica. My head rubbed the roof all the time. Really annoying. I'm not too sure about the rail thing but i'm gonna keep checkin this thread out to see if anyone knows. SOrry i've been of no help though.

Yep, i have the same problems. I've been looking for an after market seat that would give me a lower seat hight, but almost everyone I find says it raises it 2" or so. Hopefully someone will have and idea.

When i was buying my car i test drove a brand new tourning model with the leather and then i sat i mine, enthusiast, i noticed that the leather seemed to make me sit a bit higher up. The cloth seats let me sit just low enough for a little extra head room. I'd love to have had the leather but i'd go crazy if my head was always brushing the head liner.

ahhhh I couldn't bring myself to do it. Even with my back bent and my head pressed up against the cieling, snicking those gears from 1 to 2 then to three and four lightly adding forward thrust with the lightest caress of the gas pedal is one in a million. I can't get that in any car around this price range, all other cars are laggy and not even m3's have that much stuff pedal feel. I coudn't do it. HAHAH! guess i'm back on the seat rail hunt!

Do you have leather seats & might that make a difference?

My Z has cloth seats & my son, just a hair or so under 6'4", fits w/o an issue.

Default I'm 6'6"!!

I must have a short torso...I'm looking to put an aftermarket seat in my car and I went with a Bride Zeta III and a super low seat rail called the type FG from Bride...It really did lower the seat about 2 inches! I fit in my car with my helmet with no problem..Only issue was the seat had such high thigh supports I couldn't put my legs around the steering wheel..Big problem. I know there's a solution out there if you were buying an aftermarket seat. If your staying with your stock seat ou might just need to get seat rails fabricated..

Hate to say it but misery loves company. I am 6'4" 240lbs and my stock cloth seats are killing my back. I couldn't fit into a Z when they came out because my head hit the ceiling, I waited until the roadsters arrived which have lots of head room. The seats in my roadster are killing my back, please give me aftermarket seat suggestions that 1. fit in the 350z and 2. fit my **** and shoulders.
If your only lacking headroom in your Z, a roadster will fit you.
