My new toys...

The RT Cats are already on and I'm very happy w/them. The kit and the rims won't go on until next summer unfortunately. Oh, its the Carbon Creations CF Nismo Kit and the rims are the ever popular gunmetal 19" GT-7's
**edit, sorry I didn't know the pics weren't showing up, I previewed the post and they showed up. ..anyways, here's a link to my cardomain site, all the pics are there...http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/206304

make sure you cut that little black square with a hole in the grill off the bumper when you get it prepped and painted at the body shop. It looks SO much better without it.
oops, nevermind, didn't see it was a CF.. will you be painting it? or leaving it CF?

it would be cool if you painted it and left the bottom lip CF, there is a little line you will see that runs along the bumper, that is where you should leave it...
OR if you were planning on getting a CF hood, you could run two portions down the side in silver and leave the middle CF, then bring it down into the bumper matching the lines of the hood. So the portion on the front bumper in the middle between the headlights will be left CF and run it up along the hood in a slight angle. (along the line indentions on the hood that lead up to the window.)and have it stop right above where the grill is on the bumper and round it off...
Sorry if you don't understand what i mean, i don't have photoshop...

Hey Cat, thanks for the feedback/ideas...I did get the whole kit in CF, I'm not going to get CF hood though. I'm leanign towards painting the majority of the kit and leaving about a 1/3(at the bottom) of it CF. Oh...I saw the line on the front bumper you mentioned

yeah I think you should leave 1/3 at the bottom... or whatever matches up to the line I mentions about the front bumper
good luck and post pics!!

How come you are waiting on the rims? I mean, i'm guessing you aren't putting them on due to the weather. Dont you keep it garaged and not drive in bad weather? I've got some wheels coming in tomorrow so i'm curious about this as well since i'm kinda close to you. I was thinking about putting mine on but it wont get driven in snowy weather or when there is sand on the roads. I've never had aftermarket wheels so I'm not sure if this is ok or not. I also forgot we had talked about jobs a long while back. I finally got one, lol. Anyways, congrats on the wheels and body kit, it will look awesome when its on.
