Default AeroCatch REAL Carbon Fiber Locking Hood Pins

I bought these on here last year with the idea I was going to do a carbon fiber hood on my Z and I ended up not doing the hood.

These have never been worked with, installed, only opened up to look at. Comes with everything like new: instructions, hardware, and both hood pins.

These are a REAL carbon fiber locking hood pin set. The part number on them, 125-2100, these are not on the Aerocatch website anymore. This style looks tons better then the stupid "Carbon Look" hood pins they are selling now.

Last year I paid well over $170 for them. I haven't been able to find them for sale online anywhere...

These hood pins are the style that mount under the hood, so the only thing showing is the middle section from above. Comes with the keys and all original hardware/instructions.

Here is a picture of the regular black style installed:

That's pretty crazy... I can't find these for sale online anywhere though. Searching for Aerocatch Carbon Fiber and all you get is the printed on carbon fiber "look" locks.

I guess if someone can show a store selling them at a specific price I will beat it in order to sell these...

I will message strafe today and find out but I wasnt sure that aerocatch actually sold real carbon fiber hood latches. Thought all were just the top if it showed carbon fiber and the bottom was the regular style

Yea, that's what these are. A layer of carbon fiber on top of a hard plastic construction.

These used to be available from Aerocatch, but not all they offer is a plastic latch with a carbon fiber print vinyl.

This is what is currently available from Aerocatch, not the same as what I have:

I have the Aerocatch hood locks on my car. They are NOT real CF!, the whole piece is plastic. In this pic, it looks like a layer or CF on top of the plastic. These also mount from the bottom side which are a real PITA to install. The pics of the 3 hood locks are the top mount style (easy install)
Does the box that they came in say CF on it?

Like I already said, these are different than the new "CF Look" latches that Aerocatch sell. These ones are real CF and you can't get them from Aerocatch anymore!

Yes these mount from beneath the hood and it is maybe a little tougher to install, but looks better than the other style.

The pic of the three different latches was posted to show you what the new fake carbon fiber style looks like compared to the ones I am selling.

You mention old an new style.. How old are these since the fuax CF ones have been available for the last 2 years? Dont want to be a downer, but installing the latches from the bottom side is a real PITA!
I cant say I ever seen them in CF, as I have them on my car now

I guess I figured since the face CF version is available now and the real CF version is no longer available that one of them was new and one is old. I've never seen the fake part until I started searching for them now.

As far as I can tell there are no other real carbon fiber hood latches on the market at all other than these. So if you want real CF on your car, this is your option.
