Default Signature Character limit?

Does anyone else feel the sig limit is a little TOO strict? It says currently that we are newly limited to 300 characters. This seems to include spaces, and VB tags.

I definatly agree with a sig limit, but maybe DOUBLE that, to take in account carriage returns, spaces and VB code tags...

any comments?

I agree, people with large mod lists need to share too. I like the number 600, rolls of the tongue well...

Moderators are limited to 250...consider 300 lucky. I would like to see 350+ for premier members.

Yeah, counting the spaces and VB Tags is kinda Lame!

I suggest letting Premier Members have more characters, say 600?

You can't alter that...it most likely require custom coding.

Already brought to Kyle's attention. They're currently looking into a "Garage" feature for our sigs. So instead of having a long listing of mods showing up on every post, you will have a link instead that will take you to your own page which would have your pics & mods listed out.

James - I think that would be an awesome idea instead of sig pics ... but for the text, I think 300 characters is way too small.

Even YOUR sig is more than 300 characters, not even counting the bold VB tags. I processed it at 386 characters without the VB tags. See what I mean?

Yeah. For text, I would agree that it's way too small especially if you include all the tags. Once I edit mine though it will be a lot smaller since the new limitation will kick in. Oh well, I hope they will pull through with this "Garage" feature pretty soon. If not, I'm probably just going to use an alternate website to host my pics & mod listings.
