Is it just me or are there a lot of trolls on this board lately? Mostly in the 350Z coupe section. The integrity and feeling of this board has changed a lot lately, but maybe it is just my own personal perception. Please don't get me wrong, I still love this board as the information is endless. But lately it just seems more like a "supermarket" than an information exchange centre.

Anyone else feel the same?

P.S. Please don't take any personal offence to those with few posts. I am not here to name names or point fingers as I do not have absolute proof that some are trolls...but just a general gut feeling...

you are right, this is a public forum. But it is a public forum where we share the same passion and focus in our conversations, therefore we are a "selected public" if you will. This is a "350Z" forum for a reason. All I mean is that its getting more frequent for such occurances to diverse the "public" interest, giving a more scattered feeling.

 

i agree 100%, but their aint a damn thing we can do. trust me i tried.

 

I haven't seen anymore than usual (and I'm on here fairly frequently), but I have seen a surge in youngsters that seemingly try to goad the older Z members with their "my dad bought me my Z, what about you?" kind of threads. If you're talking about these members, then yes, we have seen a slight surge in trolls.

 

Tons more...every other thread is some pointless stupid question. Can my stock Z beat a Ferarri? You know...just stupid stuff!

 

If you've been here for awhile, you'll see such threads appear on a fairly normal basis... I assume none of you remember the infamous zerobanger?

Yeah, I think he owned an RX-7 but always repped for the 8... I think he lives somewhere in the Bay Area BTW.

 

I know...just checked out his threads and posts back in '03. Did a quick search on the name you mentioned. Some of them are pretty funny that I just wanna bump them back to life...hahaha don't worry I won't.
