i dont flame anyone that doesn't deserve it. There's alot of people here with alot of posts that have been around for 4-5 years...
when people come in here expecting to be spoonfed answers that have been answered 100 times before it ain't gonna happen. Show some effort, introduce yourself, show us you've atleast read the wikipedia about the car and ask a sensible question.
how somebody can plunk down 30k on a car and know nothing about it is beyond me...but i come from the old school 350Z crowd who followed the car and waited for 2+ years to catch a glimpse of the production version. You better believe I read my owners mannual the day i got it. Too many used Z's now a days i guess
how about 14 pennies?

Were all human, we all make mistakes. We always will. Were all different ages on here. We all have different levels of knowledge. We werent born 60 years old with every bit of knowledge we will ever need. So whats the point of constantly flaming people for asking something you already know, wrecking their car. There are a lot of people on here who show NO compassion what so ever. Even if someone does make a mistake, do they really need you to tell them how stupid they are? Wouldnt it be better to be constructive with your comments? Whats the point of flaming? Isn't there enough BS in this world? I go to forums to learn, and honestly, it makes me sad to see all of the negativity here. Ive been on this site for two months now, and there are some great people on here, there are also alot of jerks. I could just leave the forum, Ive thought about it. What would be better is if maybe I could help people understand. Hey, it may be a long shot, but its worth a try.
lemmy hear your two pennies

I got flamed for a lot of stuff but stuck it out. This forum has more info on the 350z than all the other combined plus some. It is a goldmine of info. All people need to do is ask themselves before they post, "does this seem like a question that could have been asked 1000x before?" Common sense should tell you this. If not then still maybe do a small amount of searching. Normally the answer can be found on the first page of searches or in stickies.
People need thicker skin sometimes and not get their feelings hurt so easily. Most of us who have been around for a while have been flamed before on several occasions but stuck it out.
Us mods are not paid to moderate. We do it because we enjoy it. Vo has done a good job of telling you pretty much everything I have said and haven't said yet. Just sit back and enjoy the board. If you let this forum get to you so much, then maybe this isn't the place you should be.

I believe everything has a balance. Too much of anything is bad. An extreme on either side of the spectrum is not good. You can apply this to anything in life as well. I feel as though this forum is out of balance. Sarcasm is funny, I'm sarcastic too, but if there is nothing but sarcasm, its not really funny anymore, its annoying, insulting, and disrespectful.
As far as thick skin goes. I didnt make this thread cause someone got too me or I got flamed too much. I made it because I see people get flamed in literally almost every single thread.
I realize you all arent paid to Mod here. Does that mean if you were paid, you would do a better job?
once again, for the record, I dont hate this site, I'm not wanting to leave, but...
There is always room for improvement. I know its hard to admit when were wrong, I would be the first to do it. I honestly dont feel as though I am wrong.

That goes for personal growth, buisness matters, your relationships, your hobbies, your cars, you name it, it can be improved. If you dont believe me, ask Henry Ford lol.

. I'm not afraid of saying anything to anyone's face...The only person I'm afraid to **** off...

But really, people need to learn to take sarcasm and not take everything they read on a forum so deeply. If someone calls someone else a noob, they shouldn't cry or leave the computer, reflect upon themselves, and ponder the meaning of "noob". They should laugh it off and continue. If people here really wanted to offend you, you'd have 10 pages in a few hours full of people flaming, ending in a thread lock.

All in all, the site is like highschool. You just have to learn to be one of the cool kids, and that means not letting yourself get out of control. There are so many very knowledgeable people on here, and at the same time, there are a fair share of useless turds. Once you spend some time on here, you begin to get a feel for who is who.

Agreed. I'm sorry if I've ever came off as too harsh in any post I've made. No need for arguments. This is definitely a thread we should all listen to. But also people should read up on stuff themselves as well.
