I agree, and I tend to see more of it on these forums than others I am on...and probably because this is an "Older" forum where as people who own a majority of these cars are 40+ yrs old...

I guess the key to stick around here is to eventually be desensitized to all the flaming? Does that make it ok, or the best way? Isnt there ALWAYS room for learning, and improvement? I'll answer my baited questions lol. No it isnt the best way, and yes, learning never stops.

When I first came to these forums and owning an SRT-4 before this, most people flamed the hell out of me for owning a "neon", regardless of the wow factor the car had (and all the records/awards it won). But when I posted on the SRT forums after buying my Z, most people congradulated me and said nice car...

You have to take what most people say here with a grain of salt. I have been here over 4 years now. When I was new to the site the Z was fairly new and even then I searched before I posted. I got flamed for a lot of stuff but stuck it out. This forum has more info on the 350z than all the other combined plus some. It is a goldmine of info. All people need to do is ask themselves before they post, "does this seem like a question that could have been asked 1000x before?" Common sense should tell you this. If not then still maybe do a small amount of searching. Normally the answer can be found on the first page of searches or in stickies.
People need thicker skin sometimes and not get their feelings hurt so easily. Most of us who have been around for a while have been flamed before on several occasions but stuck it out.

If the forum was, as how you want it, there would be approx. 3 members here. There are other forums more suited for you. Most of us love the laugh we get on the site, not reading ******* bro hugs all day. If you say something stupid (as I'm sure you did) you are ripe for forum rapin' for the enjoyment of others.

i recall i asked about what HDMI was in a XBOX 360 thread. i believe the response i got was DIAF ( Had to look it up but i guess it means Die in a Fire)
