Default What the hell's wrong with the forums ?!

All reply counters are like at 0... I don't get updated any more with new threads... and other weird crap is happening.

Is this ever going to be fixed ? :/ I can't find any other threads about the problem...

This is still going on?

Hell, man! I haven't been here in a while, and they were having the same problem then. The only thing I miss is the "Search" function.

A board with no search function? What good is that?

Working as a Software Engineer I saw the writing on the wall with this site months ago. I reported a while back that I was starting to get the error screen and nobody seemed to care. This site, as many others on the internet, are driven by databases. These things need to be cared for like children or you are going to have problems as they grow. This site was growing so fast it was inevitable that this would happen without proper maintainence. I hope that they can get it resolved before everyone leaves out of fustration.

Yeah I'm aware of vBulletin's capabilities and the need to have a permanent sysadmin in many cases.

I used to run a decent-sized site myself, warcraftreplays.com, which I've sold recently. Still has like 200-300 users on at any given time, and it would be impossible to maintain without a sysadmin of some sort.

Some people have stated that they are now receiving the notifications. I am not.

Is anyone else NOT receiving them?

Who should I contact?

Contact an administrator, like ares. The site is fixed now though, so you should be getting them.
