In the best of times, my posts when I make them are full of typo's. I can catch them most of the time once I have posted and go back and edit them in a quck fix that no one is the wiser for. Today, pretty much everyone of my post's that I corrected show that they were edited. Did we shorten the delay that allows a fast edit and not show the edited tag line? I thought the delay was at least 60 seconds. If it was changed, please restore the delay to what it was.

The setting for Time to Wait Before Starting to Display 'Last Edited by...' is at one minute.

 

It seems like it was shortened, but I dunno. Has it always been 1 minute?

 

AFAIK, yes. Unless another admin or IB has adjusted the config for testing, etc. At last check, it was one minute.

 

I'm gonna test it out quick by editing every 10 seconds. I figured I'd just use this thread.

I usually Preview Post mine for that very reason.

 

It was always 1 minute.

 

Why is there even a tag shown to members? I'd think the only people that need to see it are staff...
