Default Virus and keyloggers on my350z

The past day I have, not once, but twice had windows protect me from a keylogger/virus in general from this site.

Im a regular user and Im not an idiot when it comes to browsing the site. All I have been doing is reading random threads.

I suggest the people in charge of the site take some action on further protecting My350z.com from this.

I just reinstalled windows about 2 hours ago, come back to the site and it happened again. This was just to private message a member.

I have been on here for 2 years and this is the first time I have ever had to deal with this.

I doubt it's this site, it's probably one of the feeds from the ad sites.

I can agree with that. I would figure its still the job of the fellas that run the site to check for that. Wasnt this site bought from MC about 2 years ago?

I wouldnt be complaining if it were still personally owned and monitored.

Maybe this might get them to inform the sites advertising to double check their security.

Sorry to hear its happening to more then just me, but Im glad to cause if it was just me I would probably look like some retard that clicks every ad and opens various sites.

I'll let IB know.

I don't know why some of you guys have this issue. I've been on this site for years and I've never had an issue.

BTW, MC never owned this site. He became an admin back in the day because he used to contribute a lot to this forum (mostly Nismo stuff). Too bad when he was asked to step down, he deleted all the contributions he made.

It's NOT a new issue Dave. Some have been reporting this. Here's the other thread.

It got my PC yesterday morning and then my firefox on mac in the evening.

running noscript FF addon is a pain in the a$$, but I would suggest you add it and just start whitelisting your important sites. At the moment, I'm blocking all Flash. I can click on each object to activate it as needed, such as a youtube vid, but block everything else by default.

I'm more worried that I didnt see any warnings. You never know if your defenses were good enough or something slipped in silently

anyway. You should be able to get ProcessExplorer from MS Technet and follow these guides with great success.

General alerts.. Man, alot of nasty stuff out there right now.

I too was hit yesterday. This fake antivirus program comes up and it looks just like a real Windows program. I can't seem to get rid of it.

Can ads be temporarily shut down till the source is found?

BTW: I am running Firefox on XP

Happened to me the other day too. As soon as I clicked on the video about the 18 year old getting a Camero all hell broke loose. I had to delete a ton of stuff from my registry before I could get online again.

Thanks for clearing that up..I joined about 3 months prior to all the threads started about it.

It just start recently for all of us I think. 2 years with no problems and then BAM, 2 days in a row it happens.

Glad to see I'm not the only one.

my350z gets redirected to another site that claims to be windows defender but is anitspyware doing a "scan".

Please resolve this issue as my350z is generally a trusted site.
