Well I'm going to keep at them. I really get the feeling they don't have money or mark doesn't have access to it. If they were intent on ripping me off I wouldn't have any communication from them at all. If they had the money, they would've paid by now. At least they are paying some of the other guys in my position, although they are owed less money than me.

And yes, maybe I shouldn't have apologized for my tone, but bringing the rage and doing the significant amount of damage I've managed to do to their business hasn't got me money so far.

I'll write to them again before they get to work and tell them that if they can't pay today, then when are they going to pay me?

I just want this **** to be over and done with.

Dont be too sure of this - its another tactic just in case of any legal actions. That way in court, they can try to show that they were responsive and try to avoid any punitive damages.

Be smart - start everything NOW, report them to the local PD, the Internet Fraud Division of the FBI, Paypal, the BBB - any and all recourse you can think of, hell even call his mommy if you can. This can all be canceled or repealed once you get your money - that's why most of these things take time, to allow both parties to settle amicably.

Do not listen to ANY of these stall tactics - CVR is playing you for a fool.

This is "law" from iwsti, just wanted to say I have not got my money order in the mail yet but should get delivered today. WIth that said it isn't really a case where people that are owed less are getting prefferential treatment over you I think it is more of a time thing. My transaction has been open since the first week of July so yeah 250$ only but I still think I want my refund before you get yours

Now to go along with the other advice on this thread I don't know why you are holding off. You WILL not get money unless you take some action. File a dispute against the charge with the credit card or bank that you used to pay. The longer you wait the harder it is. You have email communications and that will work in your favor.

I am a very patient person and I will give someone a little slack if they are having issues because I understand small shops (which I think this one is probably run out of their parents basement) but 2 months is too long.

I waiting 3 months to get a part that was crap from japan and now 2 months waiting on the refund after I returned the part. The wait to get the part wasn't horrible as I have waited longer from Japan but the refund is bad. They made a few attempts to remimburse me last of which was the bounced check written by Chris himself.

A money order is as good as cash to me so when I get that should be good but if I don't I already have a dispute with my credit card open and I have a contact number for their local police to file a complaint of writing fraudulant checks.

If you just sit around and wait that is what you will continue doing. You have to put the pressure down a bit.

I'm saying this not as a vendor on this board but as an impartial bystander... Having ANYONE (relative, friend, guy on the internet who said he will do it for you, etc.) who isn't your lawyer go to confront someone on your behalf over a financial dispute is a BAD BAD idea. You have no control over what may happen at that confrontation but inevitably if, God forbid, something bad happens you will be a source of blame. I'm just saying...

^Agreed. It doesn't take much for the confront-ee to claim they were threatened or harassed.

Its ok Oliver I do understand and dont blame you for feeling distrust.
Im doing my best to cover things for Chris in his absence, he and I
both have always been on the same page about our customers, and in 8
years hes never stolen money from a customer so you can rest assured
my word is to be taken securely. The only thing I can ask is your
patience during the holidays, but I am grateful for how patient youve
already been as I know none of this is your fault. Ill talk to Chris
today and email you back afterward, but can tell you that neither I
nor Chris will be meeting anyone. Hes with his family in and out of
the hospital, during christmas to make matters even worse. Id like to
have it documented, as would he, Im sure you can understand
Who ****en cares where Chris is, he's covering, do something about it and settle up.

Be a professional for christ sakes.

OP don't listen to this BS, he's pulling on your heart strings. **** them. Money is Money that you WORKED for. If this were reversed roles I bet it would be doing a different way...

Surprised Phreaktor hasn't chimed in this thread yet with his interwebs investigating skills. I think I may shoot him a PM.

it wasn't going to be a confrontation. if they agreed to hand over cash to Ray, he was happy to go and collect it for me. He was only going to visit them if they agreed to it. but yes, i see your point. thanks for the advice.

I thought about this also.. I wasn't going over there to be confrontational. Obviously if they agreed to meet me it would of been to give me the guys money..

I don't usually get involved in other ppls business but if something like this happened to me I'd hope there was someone willing to help me out...

But never was I going to argue with these guys, that's pelicans job....

I wish u the best my friend!

Enjoy the holidays, file complaints like others have stated n in the end I think u will be OK... At this point consider it a loss, if this makes it to small claims court think of how much u would have to pay to fly out here n appear in court... Idk
But enjoy ur holidays. Would be nice if you shot out a few pints of that hard core aussie brew for the efforts tho!

Any update on this !? While my situation is a little smaller .. I ordered Brake Pads from them over a month ago and still have not received them ! and Of course, they are not answering my phone calls or emails !! they did how ever come through on my Rotors, so there is someone still making deals and selling stuff !!

This makes me said because i've ordered over 1000$ worth of stuff from them this year alone and everything has gone through smoothly !! but this is really frustrating !!

this from one of the vendors on the NASIOC forums

From what I've heard one of the owners came down with serious cancer and his brother was trying to keep things in order at the biz. I'm not sure how true that is but that's what I heard. If it is in fact true, then I wouldn't go too hard on them. I don't know them personally nor have any interest in this either way.

Ray
did some research on this and discovered that sending beer by post in the USA is an offence. If they passed a law like that down here there'd be a revolution...

Seriously don't feel bad. Yeah it sucks what they are going through but a month? That's just way too long.
