What parts did you order exactly?

I highlighted something I find interesting in your post. Do you really think he has control over how fast he receives parts? Especially if they are coming from Japan? I ordered some HKS Kansai stuff from him and it took almost 4 months to receive, but I understand that it takes time to get certain parts.....

 

I agree, but these are not JDM stuff.

Nissan 350z OEM parts like head gasket, rebuild gasket kit, timing chain, water pump, slave cylinder etc

Comp Clutch and flywheel S2, Weisco pistons, eagle h rods, arp bolts...

 

Lol well I haven't had any good experiences with this shop at all, you guys saying you have must not have done business with em lately, he didn't screw me over cuz in the end I got my money back, but like stated before, it shouldn't have to be this way, a 7 month wait on fake promises just to be told at the end that I'm getting a refund? That's pretty shitty IMO, I deal locally with concept Z performance, and I gotta say, Coz is one of the best when it comes to Z's, he'll get any part you need, he'll go above and beyond with your order, and most importantly? He's honest, I ordered some Bride seats/rails from him a while back, one of the rails wasn't in stock with his supplier so what did he do? He contacted him, got an estimated date of when I'd receive it (a month) and guess what? I got it in 2 weeks, that's customer service. I know **** doesn't always go the right way and sometimes stuff happens but when it's this many people complaining, NOT JUST INTERNATIONAL, there's an issue...just sharing my experience, like I said, I wasn't ripped off, just dissatisfied...

 

Hi R6n350GT, I am somewhat in the same boat; an international customer who has waited 11 months (From Mar 2011) for my (non-jdm) LSD from Adam.

I will keep posted if things go badly. After being told that item has been shipped, no working tracking number was available (I did request) which as you can imagine has created much anxiety and frustration.

It is encouraging to hear that a number of members here have had a positive experience with Z1 or know Adam personally.

11 months!!!

Man i thought my 7 months was bad. I was so happy when i met Adam, so helpful, answers questions so fast, great deal and then the waiting started, the its been posted but i dont have tracking number, oh it was posted but the label ripped and now a piston got lost and i have to get another one, all sorts of excuses. I have them all in my email. It would take me a few hours to make a time line but no point. I just want my parts Adam if your reading..

 

I ordered my LSD from Z1, Adam was excellent!

My parts still havnt been sent despite Adam saying they are just sitting in his office for over a month now.

I've been waiting for an OS since October, after giving up on a Carbonetics I ordered back in May.

If Adam reads this he's not the only one going a tough time and it'd be nice if the thing you got all excited for 9 months ago would show up.

One is in NY the other in Georgia and are separate companies.

^lol yeah i always found that odd when i learned to distinguish both. anyone know which company started first? i think the latter should've chosen a totally different name to avoid this confusion.

If your reading this, im still waiting for my refund that you promised last year. Iv been very patient with you even if i had to wait 2 years to be told im getting a refund on the volk wheels

 

Try sending him a pm. That sounds like a long time; but, Australia is a heck of a long ways away.

 

He wants a refund, it's not like distance even matters for him at this point considering shipping isn't of relevance to his refund.
Even then, regardless of the distance, two years is an absurd amount of time.

I've never done business with them, but unfortunately after reading these posts, I think in the future I'd rather spend a little more to ensure that I won't be waiting years to receive parts/get my money back.
Yes, there are loads of positive feedback here posted by others, however, one wrong most definitely is not equal to one right in the real world, and unfortunately, sometimes a few wrongs is enough to outweigh all the rights when influencing someone's decision.
